Has anyone tried this yet?   It looks like someone said "Ya know, TF2 just isn't graphic or X-rated enough for me"

Nub question time:

Which would be the best server to jump on and learn the game without having to worry about people stealing the rags from my back?  I've had a quick blast with Arma2 and have the basics down, however I've spent more time playing Peggle than I have DayZ.

Also how can we check which version we're running?  I'm using the DayZ Updater that Osiris mentioned in the Newbie guide, so I'm guessing that accesses the latest version.

That is incorrect.  Its not anywhere near emo enough.  Or noob enough for that matter.

It is an amazingly accurate interpretation of myself though, although the hair isnt as long as mine.

I have a tendancy to believe things that I've experienced or seen with my own eyes.

I jump off something, I hit the ground (gravity).  I throw something at a wall, it bounces off (Newtonian physics).  The plane travels fast enough for the metal wings to lift it off the ground (theory of flight/air currents).

I have yet to see anything that would make me believe in a singular higher power (other than Sonic), aliens (other than Cheech), or anything else that can't be proven with concrete evidence.  I realise this may sound awfully close-minded, however it does mean that I don't worry about things I can't affect or change.

A quick thought before I post this ....  If Jerusalem, birth place of Jesus and the land he spent his life in, is in the Middle East, why do all images showing a Christ figure show him as a European??  Think about that.

Scientologists for sheer LOL factor.

This gets my vote.  Have you read the Battlefield Earth novels??  They are hilarious in their sheer cliche-ness.  It also sounds like he went AWOL halfway through writing them, as the style changes dramatically at around book 6 / 7.

Can we call it a draw?

Actually I would say ninja's and pirates win, because ninja's are cool and flip out and kill shit, while pirates say "yarrrrrrrr" and "ahoy matey!!!".

I know this is kinda very off track from what everyone else has posted in this thread, but in a battle between science and religion, I would have to say that Religion would win.

I mean, look at the sides.  Science has the geek-type guys, like Stephen Hawking and all the other stereotypical geeks with pocket protectors.  Religion has all the TV evangalists that you see all the time, standing up their getting worked up delivering their speechs.  Now I know that Christianity has a "turn the other cheek" philosophy towards violence, however those guys on TV can get some righteous fervour going.

Plus there is always the Shaolin monks doing their chanting thing, before they open a can of whup-ass on the collective skinny asses of the geeks.

In closing, I would like to say that 9/10 ninja's are cool, however 5/4 people who can't do maths think 9/8 pirates are even cooler.
