Give it a pass.

Checking out the sales and this is what I've discovered:

Witcher 3 is 50% off. The original price is apparently $99 - making it $49 which is decent but JB Hifi has it for $69 without a sale.

Borderlands 2: The Pre-Sequel has 60% off. It's original price was $60 making it $23.99. Mighty Ape has it for $39.99 without a sale. Warehouse had it for $20 last week in one of the bargain bins and Mighty Ape had it for $20 as well in one of their daily deals.

Steam/Publishers continuing it's shifty sales bullshit. Last sale Rockstar released GTA5 in bundles with in game credits so they could get away with "sorry, you can't get a refund, you used in game credits" and they purposefully inflated the cost of GTA5 days before the sale so they could get away with what looked like a huge discount but instead offered only a few dollars off.

About 50 games on my wishlist have between 75% to 80% off.

Pretty good sale. Will need to have good look tonight, see what I can find.

No daily deals or flash sales. Casuals ruined Steam. This used to be fun. I really don't like being negative.

It's better this way. Don't need to check it everyday for new sales, just go in once and get what you want. Then spend the rest of the time not playing the games you just bought.

I like checking every day. It's like adult Christmas morning. I get that this is more efficient but the sale used to be like a game you had wanted to play.

Thats USD$59, excluding shipping.. its NZD$103 landed.

Samsung is generally considered the best, but these are not crap drives by any means, and well worth it at the price.
