Topic: ok ok - please help me decide whether to buy BF3 premium (expansions really)

So I've been tossing it up for a while. I'm still not sure whether it is worth the $60 or whatever it is. Is there still enough activity on the Oz and NZ servers for the expansions? the armoured kill sounds good.

So - what's the thoughts? Is it worth buying? I'm only on rank 36 so I've got plenty of room to rank up...

btw - talking PC here. I already have the B2K pack and that seems fairly flat in terms of activity.

edit: the premium download is $48 USD (NZD?) on origin. if that is a 'swayer'.

I cracked. Downloaded it. I think it was in NZD so $48 is pretty good for what you get.

I like the aftermath maps especially scavenger mode. AK is good and as Matt says CQ feels more like COD.

I was the same. Didnt get the expansions until aftermath came out and i got to say im fuckin loving them!!!! Fully rejuvenated the fun in bf3!!! Maps a really good and a blast to learn and play

Its OK for 10 minute bursts. Its just got so damn repetitive. I really miss the Team work from days of old on the pubs etc. Comp play for BF3 is gone so it just leaves randomly running round in circles being called hax by some nub that got the game for Christmas. Seems to be very few left playing it with any level of skill.

 PS2 is actually reminds me a bit more of he team play we used to get on the pubs. Massive teams pushing and defending all with good coms etc.

Nor do they realise it is a compliment. I got tank shelled while on caspian border "a" from a dude up on hilltop (d). His kdr didn't show signs of a hacker, so I bit my tounge. But it was suss and much easier to believe he was hacking.

One can only hope the guys making bf4 are playing ps2 in their spare time and that some of it rubs off and influences them :-/.
