If everyone is a bit like me, you are over dayz vanilla and most of the other versions of the game and just waiting for the standalone. Well I have found an interesting version of dayz called breaking point, it has had heaps of stuff added to it, like guns vehicles and even new zombies.  They have add things that the community have suggested but the developers have yet to get around to implementing like the power grid and working dogs. Here are a few screens shots from reddit looks cool with the fog at night.

and here is were you can get the launcher for it.

Hackering been addressed yet? Didn't think so.

^ LOL!

They need to hurry up with the stand alone tbh. Enthusiasm is fading and with other games on the horizon they could miss out on lots of potential release sales :(

Actually hackers have been stomped out now, with people running their own servers and anti hack measures you don't see them much.

Yeah pretty sure one of the most recent updates fixed the teleport script, can still be running around and have your legs broken by a script kiddie.

I had quite a lot of fun with it yesterday. Didn't have enough time to play it properly so I just sat ontop of sniper hill over Elektro with a CZ 550 and sniped some pricks. Great fun was had.

Yup, both done, managed to get DayZ to launch finally, only by using the 'DayZ Commander' program. But that's only vanilla. Hope I can get BP working today..
