I was on both before and after midday restart. Had crafted Ark Advance stuff before and all worked after.

I have also restarted the Great Castle and that seems all ok as well.

Just about to log..will see if I can get back on after or run into to the Mod Missmatch issue.

Edit: Logged off and on a couple of times just now..5pm NZ time. No issues at all for me.

Hah, Logged in today and thought that was intended.

Everything gone for me because I heavily used the Mods, least my base did not fall down completely!

Main thing I actually got back in..starting from scratch will not be that difficult...my massive castle has all gone but :)

Cheers for the work sorting it all guys

Could very well be correct Gutty.

Worth a try if it does not inconvenience anybody else.

When the crash happened I was being chased by a 612 Giga while on my Spino. Got a death message the 2nd attempt at logging in today..choosing spawn was stable, as soon as I spawned I crashed and have continued to crash since. :/

Yep.
I got in once..but I am getting a UE every time now..ctd after that.

A few folks are getting exactly the same fault..there is a post in the Steam forums about it.

I have re-installed all the mods and tried a few things, no joy.

I can get onto any other server , even ones with the same mods..well..i tried servers with all the same mods I could find.

Also, the guys in the Steam forums have completely different mods than we use.

Work in progress :/

Be interesting to see if the 3rd player has the same issue...

Yes yes, I should turn, off auto-update.

Ark Advance has moved on to 8.0. I think I am not the only one locked out now, but I will wait patiently :)

Mod author states disconnect points at different versions between client and server. Can one of the Admins confirm we updated today as well so I can reply please ?

Cheers,

Have fully deleted mods folder and all reference to mods, reinstalled solely the mods on our server and exactly the same thing.

Will post in the authors workshop page next I suppose..

Guess Ark just does not want me to have that wee Electric Stove!

edit : Do we know if the server got today's Mod update ?. I assume it did....otherwise, buggered if I know what is wrong :/

Cheers for trying to get to me n all

Thanks for the restart, but it must just be me bugged.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the mod, but no change.

Think I will kill entire mod folder and start fresh.

Cheers all ;)

ARK: Survival Evolved / Advance Mod new Update.
« on: March 06, 2016, 01:17:13 pm »
Hi all,

Seems I have managed to bug my game today. Was playing with the
Advance Mod items. As soon as I placed the "Cooker" dropped from server with standard Connection Lost to host message.

I have validated..which found 3 files to repair, I can log onto all other servers I have a survivor on, But I get instant Connection Lost just as I go to load actual game at Getsome.co.nz#1  :/

Any chance an Admin can break into my base at the waterfall..just before the snow at base of Volcano and have a look or kill the cooker if it is there please ?

I have had a brief look at the Mod info and not seen a known issue yet..but will continue looking!

Cheers

Edit...the author released and update about 3 hrs ago...wonder if that did something..the cooker was in the "fixed" list.

I had restarted just after the Advance mod update was done..looks like I am just getting booted for running a different version hopefully!
Will wait patiently, possibly even mow the lawn! :)

Interesting, as far as mods go whatever folks want. Looked through list and most of the ones you listed in your first few look all good.  :)

As far as maps go,

Looks like Earth is not fully working and the author has decided to finish another large project before more work on Earth. Will this cause any issues ?

Apako is in a similar state, if not more unfinished

Shigo Islands seems to have a very active author and folks seem to think it works quite well

Terra Nova has spawn issues but an active author as well.

So for me maybe Shigo Islands if we want a change or The Island again if not.

In saying all this I have only been on your server a week or 2. It is fairly quiet but you can see from the bases around that it had a pretty damn active group at some stage.
I only have a small wee base to loose if you wipe and restart others have many many hours invested.
I am happy to go along with majority and continue on server regardless of the decision.

Hi Gutty, pretty sure you will find breeding rates are vanilla...taming is increased certainly. But I have been incubating a quetz egg for 16hrs....heh

Rates have not been reset due to a patch or somesuch ?

I am on Sever #1

Hi guys,
Just wondering what the feeling was on increasing breeding rates.

I have to admit to being a rabid breeder, but 8.7 days to raise a quetz is probably a bit of a showstopper!

I know I have used the longest as an example, but even an Argie is 2.5 days to rear, Rex is 97 hrs from memory too.

If it is decided to increase the breeding time, can reducing the feed requirements of babies be looked at as well...4x rearing speeds means 4x meat/berry consumption too...I can live with the vanilla consumption if it is decided to make the change  8)

Ohh, thanks muchly for fixing the Raging Aggressive Spino prob too !!
