I haven't played since the first 3 months stint I did when the game first dropped.
Decided to give it another go after all the updates and stay away from the AH as much as possible. Just started a Monk.

I don't think there is anyone else who posts here that lives in Palmerston apart from CSFaith and I'm not sure if he is still around.
But, I'll ask anyway; anyone in town looking for a flatmate? I'm moving out come the beginning of May and would love to live with some like minded individuals - internet fans, gamers, tech enthusiasts.
I'm scared shitless of living with irresponsible, useless students as I'm domesticated and enjoy living in a clean, safe environment with people I can trust.
If nothing, then go for gold and use this thread as an opportunity to laugh at Rii for living in Palmerston.

Hey guys,
Is there a cheap solution to allow HDMi input via my PC? Is there an HDMi to USB converter (+ software I'm assuming) available that will allow me to plug an HDMi device (Xbox, PS3 etc) into my PC and allow me to use my PC monitor to run the device?
My screen has DVI and I have an HDMi to DVI converter which works, but I have no way of getting audio from my screen (it has no 3.5mm jack).
Ideas?

Hey guys, Will post pics when I get home. 1 x Lime Green Nintendo DS Lite 1 x Stylus 1 x Silicon Skin 1 x AC Adapter 1 x Chrono Trigger 1 x Final Fantasy 3 1 x Final Fantasy 4 1 x Pokemon Heart Gold w/ Poke Walker I think that's all. Everything is in pristine condition. Console has been kept in a protective silicon skin its entire life and I believe I put a screen protector on the touch screen. Still holds great charge. Hasn't been used much throughout its life. Comes with original box. Offers? EDIT: If I remember rightly, the lime green edition console was only sold on this side of the planet. My fiancée bought me a gym membership before she took off to the States for 3 months.
Last night I had my first session so my PT could figure out my level of fitness. Embarrassingly I showed that I am severely unfit. I was set 3 reps of a handful of exercises that are designed to work out different parts of the body while the PT took notes of how much I could do in 1 minute per exercise. I only managed to do 2 reps and at the end I felt like I had been put in all 7 circles of hell at once. I don't think I have ever gone that far beyond my limit before - I wanted to puke and just pass out (I didn't know I had gone past my limit until I started to fade in and out of conciousness).
This morning I picked up my meal plan and suffice to say its pretty boring, but I gather that is the nature of the beast. Foods high in protein and low in sugar. Things like steak, eggs, fruits, rice and pasta as well as tuna (which I wont touch, tuna is like catfood to me, really can't stand it).
My target protein intake per day is 185gm. After one meal of scrambled eggs and wholemeal toast I took in a grand total of 24gm of protein. I have protein shake as well which I will have to supplement. My current body weight is bang on 78.0Kg with 14.5% body fat. My target weight is 80Kg+ with 10 - 12% body fat (I have been 11% before so I feel this achievable).
This morning I feel wrecked and have had a metaphorical kick in the balls as to just how unhealthy my lifestyle is. Right now everything seems a little daunting because I fucking love food and am a little depressed at the prospect that I will be a slave to a relatively boring diet (as opposed to your typical high sodium diet).
Can anyone offer some tips on foods that fit within the paradigm of a protein rich diet but are relatively tastey? This morning I went shopping and grabbed things like salmon, chicken, rice, rice-crackers, cottage cheese, fruits & nuts, salad foods, fat-free sauces (go on salads), yoghurt, steak and eggs.
My next session is next Thursday and will do my best to get back to the gym before then but right now my upper body feels like it is wearing armour woven from the very fibres of pain itself.

As you would of noticed, alot of you don't have any issues with outing yourselves on these forums with relation to downloading games.
So, after being inspired to start this truly epic thread by <<insert ICONZ member here>> careless attitude towards game piracy, i thought i would find out how many of you share his view.
I for one don't download games. Using the age old "I hate buying a game because i don't wanna be stuck with it if it's shit" is now not an excuse. With certain game shops offering a 7day return policy even with PC games, and 100's of MB's of videos and game reviews out there to provide you with more than enough info to make an informed decision, it really doesn't give you any excuse to download a game just because you are afraid you may not like it.
And if you use the other excuse of "i can't afford $99" for a game then you should of thought about that before you spent that money on your GAMING computer. If you can't afford it, then you shouldn't have it.
So, how many of you rip off game developers?

Sorry to disappoint anyone who has stumbled into this thread hoping for a shitstorm of religious debate.
Instead i have come across one of the best sit com's America has to offer me. It is called "The Big Bang Theory".
It is about 2 intelligent theoretical physicists who are grubbin it in their apartment trying to make ends meet. A wickedly hot girl moves in to the apartment across the hall who played the blonde in "8 Rules for dating my daughter". The series follows these 2 and their 2 close friends as they try and get a grasp on the art of interacting with females in order to facilitate some sort of relationship.
After the first episode, i have never been hooked or so keen to watch more since Heroes.
The great thing about this series is that they have combined humor with actual theoretical studies such as the infamous string theory, not garble that hollywood makes up to make it sound "intelligent".
I highly recommend watching it, and if you want somewhere to watch streaming episodes, let me know.
