I would have said $200 as a fair price.
1st gen i7? 3..4 gen old GPU? There is no real value there any more. Shit nigger, I'd give that shit away to a friend.
Yea that is exactly what I did last weekend.
Nice.

Boot to desktop in win 8..... problem solved!
Problem? What problem? The "Merto-UI"? So the metro UI is a problem now? Just being a jerk, but also kinda trying to make a point

ha, the mistake was creating a start menu in the first place in windows 95.
It is a stupid thing. I was glad to see it gone.
Woah. Care to elaborate? Seemed to work pretty well for like... a few hundred million people for 20 odd years.

Apple TV + plex.
and if you have ipad/iphone you get the plex app and it's fucking awesome!
Does the Apple TV need to be jailbroken to work with Plex? I already have Twonky, and that works with everything really well.

TV's huh? Picked myself up a Panasonic TH-P50ST60 NeoPlasma the other day. 50 glorious inches of the most amazing picture I've seen. LED/LCD looks terrible sitting next to this contrast monster. Deep blacks and almost no motion blur what-so-ever. Brilliant playback over my network too. It's no slouch.

how many k's
I also purchased a car today. Caldina 2005 GT-Four 35k on the clock
Little over 100,000. Only had one owner since new with a full service history and immaculate interior. Paddle shift on the steering wheel, 17" alloys, factory fitted sport suspension. Wicked nice ride. Wicked.

It's no P1 or Zonda... but it is the nicest car I've ever owned. Say hello to the newest member of the family!

Facebook just want to get into hardware.
Why?
So their company doesn't completely rely on the emotions of 12 year girls and end up like myspace or that other thing beber or whatever it was called.
Bebo.
And as for Facebook making hardware, has everyone already forgotten the hardware they did make? And how fucking terribly that failed?
Facebook Phone. Everyone has one of those, right? Because they're so good.
You can't even make a fucking phone and you think you can master the art of VR? Even the Joker couldn't make this kinda shit up.
Facebook won't be making it though. Nor will they be making the games for use with it. Sure, they'll likely make some apps and shit.. but who the fuck cares? don't use them?
Don't trust anything Facebook owns or does. No slight against you old friend I don't believe they do anything for the good of the end user. I can't see them taking VR to the place it needs to be. See, if valve on the other hand had brought Oculus Rift then we would all be singing a very different tune, and for a good reason. Just glad valve do have their own VR under dev.

I just don't think you can offer me any professional development, sorry.
I need to be somewhere I'm challenged and am able to grow.
There will be challenges. Drink 1 litre of milk in 1 hour. And growing? Well steroid use here is mandatory.
