There is a new TV doco series called Cosmos (based on the Carl Sagan Cosmos).
It's on Fox, you can watch online here

You can use Unotelly to get around the geographical restrictions.

Will also been shown on here on the national geographic channel on sky.
I started watching it last night, is pretty awesome if you are into space and stuff (like me)

I watched the first episode as soon as it dropped.
I have Carl's original Cosmos on DVD.
I really enjoyed Neil's version, however, he's become a little too comfortable in front of the camera, and at times it feels like he's forcing it. I liked watching Carl because he was so eloquent and smooth; in a way, effortless.
Good to see that the network is throwing decent money behind it going by the production value it has.

Space and stuff? Keen! Half way through, 'How the Universe Works' and will need to get my space-fix somehow once I've finished this series.

It's very cool.
First episode felt a little... thrown together? Or rushed? Not sure what but there seemed to be no central theme. I guess it was more of an introduction then anything else. Excited for the rest.

Watched the first ep last night as well. I'm not sure if I like the whole "imagination ship" idea. I haven't watched anymore than the first ep so who knows, maybe they stop that.
I also felt like it didn't exactly go anywhere last night. Oh well, will download the second ep now I guess :P
Edit: Or maybe not. How am I suppose to fap to Neil's sweet voice talk about things I didn't know at 3am if the episode isn't even out yet.
Pick up your game. Neil.

EP2 is out.
Seth MacFarlane is executive producer :\

^Yeah isn't it coming out of his pocket? Pretty sure it is
-
If he's happy to pay for it, I'm happy to watch it.

I've never had a reason to like Seth on a personal level. Sure I like his shows but if he is funding Cosmos then holy crap, what a brilliant guy. The show has brilliant production value.
