Title: Is it normal to be losing so many points?

Upon reaching 5000 points on 30 Wave MvM server, I started to notice heavy point losses. Sometimes I'd lose 25 points to bots who killed me. Next time maybe 11 points.

During the higher waves(10+) I'd die, lose points, get revived, die, get revived, etc. I would notice a ~200 point loss. =(
I always recover though. I'm currently at 6.3K points on this server.

So, is this normal?

Yes it's normal.

The higher your rank the more vulnerable you are to a higher points loss when you die.

Its what makes up your skill ranking

Oh. That makes sense.

While we are talking about points... Chatting 'hlx' brings up the leaderboard options, but not all of them function correctly. A few options just close the hlx UI.
