I was on the other day, was really rubber banding, it was only a 48 player server as well, it was doing it periodically: play for a 2-3 mins, fine, MASSIVE RUBBER BAND for about 5 -10 seconds, then another 2-3 mins of fine play.

I should have noted what server it was but I was too busy rage-quitting to notice.

Maybe simcore found some old CS 1.5 servers and decided to use them for the BF3 servers.

Sorry just a little frustrated at the fact that the game has been out for just under a year now and GetSome still has the rubber banding issue. I can go play on a 64 player server in Europe and get a smoother game than on my 100mbit connection to Telstra GetSome servers. Maybe there isn't enough bandwidth on the back bone to cope with all the servers?

The lag seems intermittent and one time it happens is in the last five minutes of a game, so could it be related to uploading stats to battlelog pushing the network to saturation?

Have updated the 64p servers to R32 with a clean install. Could we please get these filled and see if lag/ dc drops have improved?

I will update the rest of the servers Monday. Possibly earlier if the 64's hold well

Metro 64p is now online as well.

FYI, and all that...

Servers tonight (#17, #10) Dumping all players back to server browser with message "You were disconnected from EAonline (1)"
Trying to rejoin server returns error;
"Unable to connect as the server isn't there anymore!"
5 mins later, able to connect to the server sometimes with a remaining amount of players in it.
However, some positives. No rubberbanding tonight whatsoever.... not that I managed to finish a game.

Seconding what Massacre says, a smoother experience is to be found elsewhere it seems.
No amount of reinstalling the os on the servers will fix network issues.... fyi

If you need exact times and screenshots, lemme know.

I just had this happen on NZ : GetSome TelstraClear : AK|BIGMAPS|FAST VEHICLE #07

Currently waiting in queue to get back on after 3-4 fail tries to reconnect...

I'm re organising all the BF3 servers 2mrw and cutting down our collection. Stop playing Big maps on #17 and play it on the 64p server which is lag free ~_~

FWIW I had the same experience on Australian servers for those couple of days too. I don't think the "DC from EA Online" has much to do with GetSome and more to do with your client+ISP.

Server #50 Crashed tonight on map change.
Approx 7:15pm, Oops, something went wrong. Server wasn't on the server listing then but came back shortly after.
