It's a wee bit old but it gives a lot of good information that some might not have heard/seen. (hopefully not repeated info)




Suppression is now more focused around the support class.
You can bring up bollards that block streets. Player has to get out of the vehicle to put it down (if approaching it from the red side)
Can currently only counter knife attacks from the front.
Metal detectors will go off if you go through it. Did that happen in metro at all? I can't remember.... I usually avoid metro as much as possible...

Tablet Commander Mode is a cool idea but will suck in practice. Look forward to a bunch of commanders not communicating at all with their team.

Hmmm why do you say that, tablets have voice and speakers... I see no reason why they could not be able to communicate.

Although the whole idea is pretty fucking cool, I do agree in practice it is going to suck

I thought you could use a PC or a tablet? EDIT: Just checked and you can, but on a PC you can also watch feeds from your soldiers.

Apparently it is with some weapons, and not with others. It may not be decided yet, but it would be a good way to nerf assault and auto-snipers.

Other things of note; C4 slides along ground? Gone are the days of C4-chucking, hellllooowwwwwww ten-pin c4'ing.

Noob tube AND medpacks, metro will be even more horrid for TDL.

Your input devices (keyboard/mouse) are locked into the game while its running in full-screen, so you'd have to alt-tab out of the game anyway (which means you could do the same thing with just 1 screen).

I would imagine that is done by area, not so much street. I would like to think it would do it based like wellington as an area for instance. Who knows though

I like the missions idea, can't see anyone doing useful shit on the tablets/phones during a game, if anything it breaks immersion.
