This, to me, is the ultimately heroic trait of ordinary people; they say no to the tyrant and they calmly take the consequences of this resistance. Their deeds may be small, and almost always unnoticed, unmarked by history.

When consultants cant sell it anymore to industry because they know it doesnt work, they go and sell it to government as industrial best practice.

Get vaccinated
Catch disease
Infect unvaccinated

Small Pox: 30% fatal
Influenza: 0.0157% fatal
Coronavirus: 0.28% (0.09% for under 65's) fatal

edit: My numbers are backwards. It should be 1.57% chance of dying of the flu. 0.28% for Holocough (with inflated numbers due to cases such as being shot to death by police counting as 'death with covid'). Holocough fatality rate: 0.09% for under 65's

The first step in analysis is categorisation. Its a necessary step but it can be a very dangerous step because we live and die by the categories we create

Climate change: New Zealand to quadruple climate cash for poor countries to $1.3 billion
Luke Malpass
05:15, Oct 18 2021

The Government has announced that it will be quadrupling the amount of money it spends over the next four years to help poorer countries deal with climate change.

In a significant boost to New Zealand’s global efforts to battle climate change, Stuff can reveal that over the next four years the Government has committed to ploughing $1.3 billion into offshore efforts, part of a global commitment to the developing world of $100b.

New Zealand’s previous commitment was $300 million.
Jesus Christ. That looks like eve online without the fun. Tiwa for PM I guess.
If you think the economic interface looks bad, you should see the Military interface: Its horrendous. It is impossible to coordinate attacks properly.
You increased trade 10 fold in one month?

How many TPPA's did you sign?
I increased trade revenue 11 fold in one month. And reduced income tax to 0. I also pulled New Zealand out of almost every pact that cost New Zealand financially. We still had to remain a part of the United Nations, but I did manage to give the middle finger to the Inter-Monetary Fund.

Of note is how there is no government funded research in the budget. This is because, with all the extra trade revenue, we can just buy overseas technology.

Oh yeah. I also got rid of foreign aid because fuck them.
