CHC Update #2: The $50 flights in/out of Christchurch extended until Sunday evening for anyone who needs to get out of the city or head down to see family. We're continuing to add around 2500 extra seats per day with 747s and 777s flying on the routes. Please pass this on to anyone who needs to know - particularly those without internet access. You can book online or via our call centre.

Suspended cielings.
Good for a laugh and cutting your face in an earthquake.

I think the worst part about it all is that in an earthquake if you stand up to run to cover, you're going to fall over.
But if you try to crawl, you're going to get cut to hell by all the smashed crap on the floor :(

Office where I work is right next to the grand chancellor, I doubt I will be going back there anytime soon.  On the plus side the ceiling tiles stayed in place.

scum of the fucking earth.

3 miles out to sea, tied to half a cow...swim back to shore and we're sweet

why waste a perfectly good cow - why not tie them to some of hte rubble which can be dumped at sea

RPG (the real ones, not PC) players can get some stuff and support at the same time. RPGNow raised a huge amount for Haiti and India. At no small cost to themselves, their sales for months after slump.

Geeks can follow this link, I did: http://www.rpgnow.com/product_info.php?products_id=88713

Not happy some prick has tried to rob my grandmothers (78yr) house in Fendalton, while she was there thinking it was empty he was introduced to her very protective Labrador/Collie cross, bites to the bone on both legs and severed Achilles tendon (hope the prick walks with a limp for the rest of his life.

For those interested the person was not of NZ decent.

Sounds indecent indeed, but I don't see what ethnicity has to do with anything. We have plenty of 'our own' who are thieves.
