I didn't think it was that bad. Not great but still a decent watch. Could of been so much better. I don't like Vin Diesel anymore though. He kept turning down movies at one stage which made him come off as a snooty, stuck up pansy-ass so it's hard too see him as a tough-guy hitman now. The girl was amazingly gorgeous, made a good choice with her, she played her part really well. I would of liked to of seen Turop turn out to be some guy destined to be with her and end up harboring some crazy, magical kick ass power. She didn't have to die in the end, they could of done something in the story to make it more believable and enjoyable but I've never read Babylon Babies so i don't know how much this would of differed from the book.

Anyways, this isn't a trailer, more of a thought....
I just watched this movie, I had heard a rumor that it was so scary that a lady actually soiled herself at the movies. So anyways I gets it out and just finished watching it and to be honest I didn't find it to be that scary (no I am not a tough guy!). I have def seen scarier movies.
And now we move to the point of this post, I had wanted to watch the movie "quarantine" that has just been released, that was going to be my tomorrow night movie. I had just finished watching REC and the trailer ad for Quarantine comes on, and it is the same movie!! Typical of the yanks to take a film and try and make it better (read: usually worse). (REC is spanish and is subtitled).
Any one seen both, is it actually worth me going to see the remake or is the original better?

Avatar looked really good until they did whatever the fuck they did to worthington....I've always found with the exception of Transformers 1/2 that when you take a main character and CGI him so he's unrecognisable it kills all the emotion between the audience and the actor... best sci-fi to date? doubt it.
