I havent seen this scene yet, but going by reactions on the net it involves a heap of violence? US dramas seem to be pushing the violence hard these days. Some vague spoilers of SoA and Breaking Bad: I'd refer to myself as pretty desensitised, but I struggled to watch that. I find these different to the likes of Saw where it is just violence for violence sake. I guess this also adds compliment to the writing, as I didnt want to lose these characters from their respective shows, and that its the mental aspect as well as just watching blood spill.

Really - you could have put anything but the worst possible Character flaws for an admin... Haha, well at least he can add honest to his positive traits.

Does this also apply for mods? They could split the player base and de-populate servers just as much as DLC. Thats a tricky question My take: DLC tends to effect competitive multilayer games more as most devs prefer not to allow mods so that the game experience can be kept balanced for the average joe. Whereas Mods tend to effect single player games (skyrim) or non competitive multiplayer games (minecraft) where extreme changes in gameplay concocted by the public wont wreck anyone elses experience. Also mods are created by the community that wish to use them, whereas DLC is fed to us by the devs and therefore we have no input. I think it depends on the base game, and to what extent the mod or DLC changes or fits in with the existing content. For BF3, my opinion is there is now too much choice for players, that servers tend to remain unpopulated except for a few. I agree that DLC and mods offer fresh gameplay for a game that is going stale, however devs need to be careful not to flood a community with options. (all this is probably not an issue on consoles where player bases are larger)

Point 2 in that article sums up the reason why I have Bioshock and Metro to play, yet decided to replay the original system shock instead. I dont regret that decision.

DLC that just splits the player base and causes servers to de-populate even faster . This. There can be too much of a good thing.
