Just had a quick play with some new stuff at work
65" 4k TV + GTX Titian.
Getting around 30fps all Ultra. Had to turn it down a bit tho because it would drop to 8fps on some scenes

I've got my learners license. Had it for while now (maybe a year).
My bike is at my parents place in Masterton and I mainly ride the bike on country roads with little to no traffic. (I occasionally rdie around Masterton and other Wairarapa towns). I feel pretty happy on the bike in these cases.
I've been thinking about using it to commute to work (live and work in welly). The commute takes we round the Basin Reserve during peak traffic. I'm not feeling so good about this. I've ridden the bike over the hill and on the motorway. That was fine, there wasn't traffic. The traffic on the way home from work is stop start.
Just after some advice. Is it a good idea to just do it? Or should I just start with riding around welly when things aren't as busy.
Lane splitting - Should I do it? Or should I just stay in the lane till I feel better about traffic? Should keep riding my bike over in Masterton (keep building up my confidence)?

Wasn't to bad out in Miramar @ work. Thought it was people running on the floor above me at first.
Parents said is was pretty bad in Masterton.

It wouldn't be worth buying a 775 cpu these days. Seems to be a bit of a premium on them.

Q9450 would be what your looking for. But it's not going to be cheap. Everyone will be looking for them.
Is overclocking a option? Might be able to get a bit more outta the Q6600

I use win8 at work. Metro and all. Love it.
Wish the $40 upgrade was still available. Would move all my machines over to it.
Don't miss the start button. Hope there is a way to remove it in 8.1

So does that mean older cards will utilise mantle also? Yep I believe so. Just the 7*** cards I think.

AMD has fixed pacing issues and BF4 will use mantle, pays to wait a couple of months and see the new R series benchmarks. Some of the R series are just a rebrand of the 7*** series.
