Saw this and had an idea; GetSome could become an affiliate, then in turn, with any sales made off the ad, the money or free keys could go towards prizes for any of GetSome's comps

Is this site even legit?

I'd rather go bareback in Hamiltion than buy from that site.

Site is legit, bought a bunch of keys off it.

Just because you bought legit keys from it, doesn't make the site or the method they got those keys legit

Fair call, though from the amount of pictures they post on their facebook page of the bulk load of games they get the keys from, if they weren't legit, I'm sure they would've been found out by now.

Obviously, if who ever runs GetSome and makes these kinds of decisions to be affiliated with such a site would do a bit more digging before making such a deal.

CD key sites are "grey market", but are basically the online gaming equivalent of the warehouse parallel importing stuff.

Intresting. They take the CD Keys out of the boxes, which they sell separately.

Pretty much a grey area.
Definitely against the publishers T&C.

Breaking T&C/Eula is generally not illegal(SU govt efforts to change that not withstanding). Given NZ allows parallel importing and outlaws region locking, CD key sites are pretty legit under NZ law I'd imagine.

The risk is on the consumer though. If something goes wrong, they'd have no legal recourse.
