To be fair this new chap has well and truely 1upped.
I was just saying that going through a cave has been done before.
As has the hitting targets thing, which Corliss did a number of times before breaking his legs.
Basically pointing out: Just a typical bit of fluff from the media with no real clues. They seem to pretty much just dismiss Jeb.

Get up on the wrong side of the bed however and there is a bridge/rock/something harder than you waiting for you.
