The number of points required to equip the new player models was raised only because people had asked for more exclusive player models. Also the original price was just a set figure while I tested them to ensure the models hands and skeleton animations worked properly along with ensuring the models hit box matched the skeleton to show true hits.

I'm sorry that you fell cheated by the price change but the figure had to be changed anyway. Expect more changes to the pointshop as I overhaul the equip function and possible change 3D model view.

You can also expect some changes to the number of points awarded overtime with the return of kill points. I will add this script back in later after I make some modifications.

Anyway this will benefit in the long run as it gives players something to look forward too. Otherwise we would hear complaints of under priced items and constantly be adjusting them to ensure everyone's happy with the price.

Enjoy the new player models anyway they aren't the easiest thing to install properly on TTT.
(If you ever complain about the changes I make to player models again I will make that Harry potter player model you love so much free so everyone looks like you muahahaha KOS Ser Jesse)

You were banned for blatant mass RDM.

This was only a 4 day ban that was applied. However after you were banned you decided to make an admin application. We can presume that you made that application in the hopes of redeeming yourself and bypassing your ban, that application was of course denied.

I would have been happy to shorten your ban or possible remove it. But you decided to constantly message others about your ban to the point were it started getting on our nerves. You also decided to abuse other players after you were banned on Steam.

So your ban was extended because of this and after we reviewed the logs of your behaviour that day.

You were gagged repeatedly that day and flamed at players over chat constantly. You also used admin chat unnecessarily.

Why are you guys doing this. We keep logs of everything and even when an admins not online if you make a report it will be saved. When an admin joins the server they have to mark it as finished so reports don't go unnoticed but keep in mind there are literally hundreds of reports each day. We also have a watchlist so this list is not vital. And we can view ban records at any time so there's no need to constantly update this list. Also you don't provide any evidence so none of these people are going to get banned, even if you just provide the time that the people were on it saves allot of time.

I would prefer it if you just messaged me or`Kayne if you strongly believe someone needs to be banned.

This is being taken a bit far guys. Just move on with it I'm not sure what the hell the problem is but please just play fairly and get over your differences.

Also rule 16.  -No flaming / extreme swearing / discrimination.

Swearing is fine, I see people flame all the time over the smallest things just don't continue to do it and make a scene. If you guys continue abuse each other for whatever reason I will disable your voice chat.

I changed it to allow interaction with small items it works fine you just can't run or turn with it fast.

And that's not a bug... it would be stupid if objects didn't move when you shot them, and the chances of being killed that way is so unlikely.

I always thought prop killing was funny until today when someone decided to prop kill me. With much rage I opened teh codez editor up with my tentacles and blocked every single possible exploit that allows a player to prop kill hopefully.....

So now to your astonishment you will find that if you try and pick a prop up you will fail miserably. You can now only push props around this not only stops prop killing but prevents people from jamming doors with props and camping.

Another issue I found when editing it was players could actually pick up weapons and walk around with them this created some physics errors, so that too has also been fixed up. If you attempt to pick up any weapon with the magnetostick it will simply blow it around the place this allows you to still get hidden weapons out of tricky places under tables etc.

You can however still pick up dead bodies as an innocent or detective and move them to places for whatever reason, same as before and velocity caps still apply so you have to move to body around carefully. And as a traitor you can still hide bodies and hang / pin them to walls with right click to intimidate your enemies.

Note: This is a hard code change to the client files the server will push the update out when you initially connect, so may have to close Garrys mod and open it again to clear the cache for it to take affect.

This bug was known when I decided to implement it. Basically TTT randomly picks the traitors at the start of the round using a percentage of 0.25 however I have capped the maximum amount if traitors at 9. So when you purchase traitor round then it simply hooks the start of the round and makes you a traitor.

But because it had already assigned you a type the game scores your performance based of the initial type you were spawned as. So if you were picked as an innocent then purchased traitor it would award you as if you were innocent.

Karma is currently half disabled while I work on it. It still displays karma but it gets reset every round if you don't rdm / damage anyone this is called a clean round and re bases your karma back too 1000. I am currently deciding if I should completely remove karma and just use the point scoring system so if you rdm you lose a set amount of points if you do the right thing then you are awarded points.

Then the points you gain will unlock more credit for you to use in the traitor / detective menus for example 25 points = 1 credit. Point-Shop credits will still be awarded based on time played.

Also CS:S and De map's have been removed because `Kayne told me nobody had them. You need at least one source game to play Garrys Mod properly and CS:S has all the maps and textures, some maps rarely include Portal 2 or Hl2 textures.

Can confirm its crap in my opinion even though it's still in BETA. It's basically a $90 DLC, and I thought EA had changed their ways by having some sales and free game giveaways but sadly I was wrong.

But do they deserve to be the worst company of the year again ?

I'm not sure if you need to own Battlefield 4 for or not. I already have BF4, but from what I have read it seems that you don't need it to be able to play so you should be good. And if your having problem's finding the BETA then click show hidden games and it should show up next to the other Battlefield Betas, well that's the case with my library.

But your biggest problem will be finding a server they are packed at the moment.

Yes this particular server is a popular one for cheaters to join. The best way is to apparently tell judge and frog that are on teamspeak most of the time. And add the admins to your friends list on Origin if you are a regular, that's your best bet if you need to contact them.

Tracking everyone's stats is pretty intensive as we are all ready tracking and logging all shots fired and damage dealt by players to generate automatic RDM reports. But I might make a script tomorrow if I have time to calculate who gets the highest k/d ratio for the current round in deathmatch mode. 

The spider thing I think that's on one of the minecraft city 4-5 maps but I'm not sure how high it launches people I will add that map on to the server too.

The crowbar idea is cool but personally I'm to lazy to chase people around the  map with a crowbar I just like to spray and pray with the Mac-10 so I will make a random timer event to change everyones weapon in deathmatch mode to a crowbar or maybe fists fights would be better if you know what I mean...  You've got me thinking to much, I wouldn't mind porting Counter Strikes infected mode to Garrys Mod and adding the riot shields in.

The problem is that most TTT maps are big files even when compressed some are 50mb + nobody wants to wait for that to download then wait for source engine to decompress it. So you will have to find maps that you think are suitable for the server and suggest them.

On a side note the walking through props thing is because they are CS:S props / objects. There are only a few props that don't have collide properties so it's not a major problem. But then there are also props that aren't CS:S and have no physics applied to them, you probably would have seen the floating health stations because of this the server makes the object a no collide prop and suspends them in air allowing you to walk through them. But its not hard to fix but will have to be done when the server is empty because it requires CS:S files to be mounted on the server.

These are the current maps that can be dropped on the server instantly. I have coded all of these to work but never got around to asking what maps people would like to play on. Yes there are allot more TTT maps that I have but these are the ones that are ready to go. Fell free to suggest any maps you find on the internet but play them first before suggesting them.

You need to go into your Garrys mod directory and delete map 67th way v4 map.

Run a search for the map name in this directory.

The map will end with the .bsp extension  (compressed format)

There will also be a .AIN extension you can delete that if you still have problems

You should also delete the GMA file just to make sure it downloads it again.

Search for this 105195237 number and delete it only delete that number do not remove the other files.

The following rules apply when playing on the GetSome Trouble In Terrorist Town Server.

The Basics:
-Don’t mic / chat spam.
-Admins word is final.
-Report RDM using !report.
-Don’t exploit / glitch the game and / or map.
-Don’t be abusive towards other players or GetSome admins.
-Don’t Metagame (Communicate with players outside of the game).
-Don’t attempt to use cheats. If caught, the anti cheat will permanently ban you.
-If multiple people find your use of Mic to be annoying, please consider their feelings.

Definitions:
(RDM) Random Death Match – This is when players randomly start killing each other for no reason. Too
much RDM will lower your karma and points and will result in a ban.

(KOS) Kill On Sight – If you see a traitor kill an innocent or detective, you can call KOS. That means: players
are allowed to kill them when they see the traitor. Make sure you ID the bodies first to confirm that the traitor
had killed the innocent or detective. Randomly calling out false KOS’s may result in your microphone / chat being
temporarily disabled by GetSome admins or you may be banned for repeat offences.

(Metagaming / Ghosting) – This is when you talk to people or your friends outside of the games chat and voice chat.
Example: talking to your friends that are on the server and telling each other who the traitors are. You will be given
only one warning when you have been caught or suspected to be metagaming. If you continue to metagame, after the warning,
you and your friends will be permanently banned from playing, as this defeats the purpose of the game mode.

INVALID grounds to shoot someone:
-They are hurt.
-They are AFK / standing still.
-They are not responding to a live-check.
-They are stalking you / hugging you.
-They have fired a weapon, even if it nearly hit you.
-Their weapon matches the weapon used to kill someone.
-They hit you for a few HP when their prop glitched out.
-You obviously walked into their line of fire and got hit.

RULES:

1.     -Only detectives can give orders. Disobeying allows the detectives to hurt (but not instakill) as a warning.
2.     -Using any map-specific traps (dynamite, gas, etc.) with the intention to hurt someone is a traitors act.
3.     -Random C4 disarming is not allowed; you have to be sure it is safe. Don't risk other innocents' lives!
4.     -Propkilling / significant hurting when alive equals shooting a person. When dead, this is bannable.
5.     -Your name should be pronounceable and typable. When asked to change your name, do so or get kicked.
6.     -Do not kill rulebreakers. Don't take the law into your own hands, only shoot in self defence.
7.     -If there is a player with a higher rank on the server, do not use any of your rank's powers.
8.     -Throwing grenades at random, in a way they may hurt people, is not allowed as innocent.
9.     -Be forgiving. People make mistakes. You can always mark them suspect when in doubt.
10.   -No glitching, exploiting, hacks or scripts and any other related ways of cheating.
11.   -No obscene sprays. Server population decides whether or not this is the case.
12.   -Don't let the time run out as a traitor. Don't waste other peoples time.
13.   -Admins' word is final. We are above the rules, as we actually wrote them.
14.   -When innocent, you can only shoot someone on truly valid grounds*.
15.   -Don't overuse the voice chat: don't mic spam, don't sing.
16.   -Only written Detective KOS's are valid for rdm reports.
17.   -No flaming / extreme swearing / discrimination.
18.   -Metagaming / ghosting is strictly not allowed (this includes private messages to revive players).
19.   -No Prop Surfing this counts as exploiting.
20.   -Do not prop surf / prop kill / prop push.
21.   -Do not call generic KOS e.g. "KOS TOWER".
22.   -Using the charged axe on rooftops is kos'able.
23.   -You cannot kill someone for not getting tested - You can only place high suspicion.
24.   -Destroying equipment such as the traitor tester is counted as high suspicion only.
25.   -Advertising using chat and or voice communication is strictly not allowed.
26.   -Posting malicious links this may result in a permanent ban from the server.
27.   -Changing your Steam name during a round may result in you being kicked by an admin and or banned.
28.   -Inappropriate names and or name stealing will result in a temporary ban if you fail to change name when asked.
29.   -Spamming admin chat is not acceptable, we can see the report you have made and will get to it when we can.
30.   -Faces aka Lenny Face, is now considered spam - any overuse of this will be a kick/bannable offence.
