Should let you fly free until the 25th, so a little over a week. The installer told me I don't have a ship, but the video I saw said that all ships will be available for free for this test. So either that or maybe you can buy one with the credits.

tempted as took a huge ingame loss in elite dangerous recently 4 months of work and exploration data lost due to a release bug..

YEAH...

3500 scanned systems that i would have had my name on as first discoverer, 37m ly and approx 369mil in credits... poof gone..

i logged out, toilet break logged in and it said my ship had depleted oxygen, because it didnt register me as logged off........


what really nits my knickers is support can restore my ship lost credits and possibly my rank gains i would have got but exploration data is irretrievable as it is log file client side until its sold and then it stores server side,  and once the game kills your ship it wipes its log....

This is one of the prettiest games I've ever seen, seriously. Shame about the twelve FPS. On Low settings it still looks nice and I get about 40fps.

I kind of like it, but steering with a mouse sucks.

I'd need some hardware to enjoy this game properly. Visually exquisite. Expectations exceeded.

I love having an x55 hotas makes this game more fun.

Kind of want a thrustmaster warthog now.

But can't justify the 899 price tag compared to my 400 dollar x55

Getting really fucking annoyed at constantly greying out. In space.

Eight minute loading times don't help. I know it's an alpha.
