Hillary represented the continuation of the same old system thats slowly but surely been destroying the middle class. The system that favours corporate interests over working families. I don't think people voted for Trump as much as they voted against Hillary.

It was alright. Just standard BF gameplay with a lick of paint in the end.

Having not played any BF for 9 months or so, I've found I'm not too keen on it anymore.

Agree with that. Certainly a smoother game than BF4 for me.

Also in the middle of The Mistborn Trilogy by Brandon Sanderson, the guy who finished of The Wheel of Time series when the original author died. Very entertaining writer, easy to read, well paced books.

Brandon Sanderson's Way of Kings is a good read too.

I wish I never started reading this series. The wait for sequels is going to be painful.

SO. While I've realised I love Brandon Sanderson's writing style / "mind" , I'm running out of his books to read (currently have two cliff hangers that he hasn't finished writing for yet)

But I need more.

Oh God, Do I Need More.

Someone please help me climax and give me more books to read.

Just finished reading Warbreaker by Brandon Sanderson. Really good, stand alone novel set in his cosmere. One of the most interesting and unique magic mechanics I've seen.

Funny this pops up as I just finished reading Shadows of self last night (well 3am this morning) . I just love these characters, especially Wayne.

As for Lias suggestions:

I just recently finished Starship Troopers, really enjoyed it although it has a very different tone to the movies (still love the movie though).

Isaac Asimov - quite enjoyed the first few Foundation books but just got tired of the constant jumping ahead several decades at a time. Because of this there no consistent characters to follow. However I absolutely loved the Robot novels. Asimov basically invented how we see AI/robots in sci-fi today.

Its $45 for one module then $15 to add the other, making a standard $60 price for both. Is this not a good thing?

I sure as hell would love it if Battlefield released with similar pricing structures, being able to purchase just the MP.

This game looks like it could be a lot of fun.

Beta doesn't light my world on fire. Will be waiting for some reviews of the full release to see what the game adds to whats in the beta.

But tbh, I don't see more skills/perks plus a bigger map changing the beta experience all that much.

Load of hot air.

Every BF release has its skill ceiling lowered a little bit more each time in order to cater for casuals. I don't see this trend ending anytime soon.
Add in no mod support and I don't ever see competitive BF being a thing ever again.

When it comes to games, blame the publishers for the excessive price, not the tax.

I know it's not new and exciting, but do you RTS people not like the Wargame series? It seems like ten people with a copy of Red Dragon could get something very competitive happening. Can even do 5v5, 10v10 etc if you have enough people.

Such a pretty game too.

The game I mentioned a few posts earlier is made by the wargame guys.

I play  bit of Wargame, is pretty damn cool. Its almost like playing a tabletop war simulator. It might be ral time, but I wouldn't class it as a RTS.

Did the Rideforever Bronze course today, was fantastic.

I enjoyed mine when I did it, but due to the amount of riding I did, I didn't gain a whole lot from it, at some point when we get into summer I have a course booked with Rider Training aimed at people who have recently upgraded to the Superbike/Hyperbike class

I've not done a heck of a lot of riding since I got my bike, just a commute a few times a week and run to pick stuff up in town. So for me it was very helpful to get out there with some people with experience, have a blat on the open road and in some twists. Really highlighted how crap a rider I am but has given me the confidence and tools to go out and practice.

That cycle started months ago when they said ATAT's would be on rails and not driveable.

I don't see the big deal. It's not like they are very maneuverable, realistically if such a think existed it probably couldn't even turn.

Yea fuck doing something fun if it isn't realistic /s

Steam getting owned at the moment. Updates barely downloading, if at all.

Bought Homeworld Remastered and Valkyria Chronicles.

Doom wouldn't be top of my list for Bethesda's E3 announcements. Prefer to see Dishonored 2 or Fallout 4 announced.
