Garrys Mod / Re: Need help. Cant get in server

So I have no idea how to help you out, but some ideas I can suggest are

- Disable all ingame addons. You can do this by going into the addon's menu and hitting "disable all", off of the GMOD main menu
- Exit GMOD, right click it in your steam library, Go to properties > Local files > verify game integrity, or maybe it says game cache. Dunno, One or the other.
- Relaunch garrys mod and try rejoin the server

I honestly have no clue otherwise

Or when your belt hovers into your piss-stream.

The worst.

Tend to stuff it in my pocket for that reason.

The worst is when i'm taking a piss in a urinal, then a work colleague comes in and takes up position in the one right next to me, and then proceeds to have a full on conversation with me.

Maybe it's just me, I just don't like talking to people while holding my dick.

Even if I'm pissing into a toilet, with the door closed, I won't ever talk while pissing.

Unless I'm drunk, but of course, that changes everything.

Just finished Calamity.

Spoiler :
Not really a fan of the series.

Megan was the worst tsundere I've ever... read about / seen. If you are going to be a bitch, YOU STICK TO BEING A BITCH UNTIL THE END

The actual plot of the book didn't really surprise me at any of its plot twists. Saw the ending coming, Didn't see who was Calamity but again, I wasn't shocked.

The book also didn't really have the same kind of humour that Brandon Sanderson has in Stormlight, Elantris, and The mistborn trilogy(x2)

And again, the first person narrative. I wasn't a fan of it.

Spoiler :
BUT I FUCKIN' PIRATED THE BOOK SO NO LOSS FOR ME :>

Funny this pops up as I just finished reading Shadows of self last night (well 3am this morning) . I just love these characters, especially Wayne.

Brandon Sanderson definitely seems to have my kind of comedic style, at least mainly in his latest books (stormlight, Alloy of Law series)

Although this current book (Steelheart) is actually a bit grinding, I'm not the biggest fan of first person narrative, and I'm not sure if these bad metaphors are supposed to be cute, funny, or just a characteristic trait

But I'm already on to firefight (book #2) so I guess I can't complain.

Gosh I hope Megan and Daffid progress further.

Oh gosh.

Oh gosh I've made a fool of myself.

I don't know why I assumed I had read all of his books. I've just gone on his website

- The steelheart series (As you mentioned)
- ....
Actually scratch what I said before, The steelheart series seems to be the only series of interest that I haven't read, by Brandon Sanderson. The rest just seem a bit "eh"

But still, I'll download go outside and serach for order it online and then download the book you suggested

SO. While I've realised I love Brandon Sanderson's writing style / "mind" , I'm running out of his books to read (currently have two cliff hangers that he hasn't finished writing for yet)

But I need more.

Oh God, Do I Need More.

Someone please help me climax and give me more books to read.

Oh god - YEWCHEWB.

Fucking slurred NZ accent.

I bet this will annoy you all.

I say the word 'pseudo' in a similar sense to the word persuade  "p - sway - doh"

I know it's wrong, but I'll never correct it.

I was hoping for a 1942 remake tbh.

Through the ignorance of not researching anything, I think WW1 is too outdated to make a good game.

Intellectual Discussion / Re: THe Flag thread.
« on: March 05, 2016, 11:12:45 pm »
Apparently, and I mean that word in the highest sense as I saw this on facebook, writing on the paper CAN cause the vote to be counted as invalid.

Which would mean everyone writing "Fuck the new flag", "Fuck John Key" or as above - "N0O0O!!" ... would invalidate their vote to keep the old flag, causing a higher vote for the new one.

Not that I care, really. I like both flags, but I do get sick of the people who confuse NZ and Australia.

Oh goodness, you were serious about posting a report.

Your mic was annoying enough, and then you started making sounds. It's a gag bra. It lasts until map change.

Also I'll never do what someone demands. "ADMIN ABUSE. UNGAG ME NOW KAYNE"

Plz and ty go a long way.

Also I fucking hate anyone who thinks they're funny by repeatedly calling me "Kanye"

The good news is that I'm preparing myself to be disappointed. That way, if it's any good, I'll be happily proven wrong.

Or, it's shit, and I'll get to be all smug about being right

Stephen King's "The Dark Tower" series is finally to be made into a movie.

http://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2016/03/idris-elba-matthew-mcconaughey-dark-tower-twitter-joke

Having recently finished reading the series (2 nights ago, to be exact) again*, I'm pretty excited.

Although I'm pretty sure it's going to be a huge let down. They're starting "mid series" meaning missing the first book in the desert, with the famous line that started it all, Missing "death number 1". Probably skipping the beach, and the doors. Will they skip the lobstrosities? Will Roland be intact from start to finish in this?

Shit - Are they even going to follow the story line? They'll just spoil the whole fucking thing.

I also don't believe Roland should be played by a black man. Is that racist? Yes - I'm saying that Idris Elba shouldn't play as Roland Deschain PURELY because of the colour of his skin, regardless of his acting ability. I'm not saying it because he's black but because Roland's white.

I just feel they really don't care for the lore of the book.
...and yes, if Roland was black, I would still be bothered if he was played by someone like Clint Eastwood.

Does this make me racist? Am I too old fashioned? I mean come on it's 2k+16 we have a black president now and kanye west is the greatest rock star of all time get with it already.

I got good rep for this post saying "FUCK YES"
Does that mean FUCK YES I'm racist, and if so, it's a good thing? haha

47
NICE TO SEE HE'S GETTING A HEAD.

Fuck the pun is there, someone else make it work.

48

Funny watches - I love the last 2. The first one is just relevant to what I wrote in the previous post.

49
In reply to a certain cute little someone (now you will all be wondering who)

I've heard that yes - It was actually a test for abraham

But that part that I read was actually the LAW that God imposed on all men. There are actually quite a few things wrong with today's world that go against what God DIRECTLY said in the old testament.

LET'S QUOTE THEM RIGHT NOW!

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Exodus%2020&version=KJ21 (So you can read along too!)

“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 Six days shalt thou labor and do all thy work;
10 but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God. In it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates."

I.e Sunday - Do not work on a Sunday - This is actually one of the 10 commandments, and the punishment for working on a sunday? DEATH.

" And if thou wilt make Me an altar of stone, thou shalt not build it of hewn stone; for if thou lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast polluted it"

Just like these alter abs, some are made of stone, or partially. Quite neat for "natural rock", if you ask me.

26 Neither shalt thou go up by steps unto Mine altar, that thy nakedness be not uncovered thereon.’

I can't think of a comment for every one. A lot of churches have at least 2 steps (not a fact, more opinion(?)) leading up to the raised alter.

If thou buy a Hebrew servant, six years he shall serve; and in the seventh he shall go out free for nothing.

Slavery - Good, right? God said so!

Ow christ, here is a "new" one

5 And if the servant shall plainly say, ‘I love my master, my wife, and my children; I will not go out free,’
6 then his master shall bring him unto the judges. He shall also bring him to the door or unto the doorpost, and his master shall bore his ear through with an awl, and he shall serve him for ever.

To save you all from googling, An Awl looks like a giant sharp spike with a screw driver handle. Practically a shiv.

18 “Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.

Direct confirmation that witches exist, according to God.

29 “Thou shalt not delay to offer the first of thy ripe fruits and of thy liquors. The firstborn of thy sons shalt thou give unto Me.
30 Likewise shalt thou do with thine oxen and with thy sheep: seven days it shall be with his dam; on the eighth day thou shalt give it to Me.

And there we have it, A direct command for all of man to hear, to give up your first born child on it's 8th day.

I can't be bothered reading through all of this stuff again, but I know that

* God commanded all men to celebrate his being 3 times a year, with a feast of unleavened bread (as in - no yeast)
* God commanded at each of these feast (I think, or maybe it was a separate 3 times a year) for each man / group / community to bring forth a-whole-load-of-hard-fucking-work giant arc. to be sacrificed.
Part 1 : https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Exodus%2025&version=KJ21
Part 2 : https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Exodus%2026&version=KJ21
Part 3 : https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Exodus%2027&version=KJ21
* To murder all who do not directly believe in the christian god, for they will tarnish your beliefs.
* If you touch something "dirty" (unclean; evil; unholy), regardless if you know it or not, you are now dirty too.

I decided to read the old testament.

God said for men to all kill their firstborn child / son.

God's all knowing right? That means he still means what he said today....right?
