Have a huge exposed aggregate concrete area on my property that's old and pitted and want to know if it's possible to grind down the surface to a new smooth(ish) finish.
Anyone know if this is possible?
Searching wellington concrete grinding shows there's a few places that do this.

Sorry, I only have ingame experience in concrete grinding, I'm level 18

May a huge hairy black ape butt rape you
Seriously though, I don't want to contact these places when I could just ask the internet forums

2nd'ed.
Can be done cheaper if you don't want such a fancy finish.

That pic shows about 1/2 of the rear, the front has same stuff 3 times the size, I just want to be able to walk in bare feet without wincing like a bitch.

Put a donk on it

Tell your feet to HTFU or wear jandals/flip-flops.

Dammit! I'm stuck on level 13, I can't find the forth Diamond Tool to get past this quest. Google says it's a random drop in the Mitre 10 Mega dungeon, but I'm yet to see it.

Who said expensive, how badly expensive? Guestimates for what is shown?
In the back of pic you can see where I have taken to some stupid sections of concrete with a jackhammer, have removed 3mē already, costed $300 all up for the jackhammer day hire and hard fill skip bin, been busy fixing up the errors of the past.

cant guesstimate , tho had some done on a house in Orakei , i remember it was holy fuck expensive .

I did it for my cafe floor, it is really expensive as they use a diamond cutter to grind the concrete. Can't remember exact amount as it was a long time back but i remember thinking it would have been cheaper to carpet
As your concrete is really pitted it will take them a long time to grind it down flat, it will then be very slippery. There is a product you can pour over the concrete to smooth it out, again expensive, talk to a tiler

$130 per day - DIY
Large one is 5sqm/hour

unless you are reasonably "skilled" , and dont care to much about the finish . i still laugh at some attempts by myself and a few mates who all thought we could use a floor sander . also the "product" eddie is talking about is a type of epoxy sealer . toxic as fuckery and unless applied properly , does not work . also pricey . self leveling compounds will not adhere to concrete permanently , and will break down ,crack , fall away or even disintegrate . i have had some success with a 2 pot acrylic urethane mixed with sand on external concrete , but it was pricey and again only a semi-permanent fix.

Concrete grinding isn't worth it imo, get far more exp angle grinding or dirty dance grinding.

Didn't even think to check out DIY grinding options, thanks for the heads up spig, might be worth a try as $130 for a day is nothing compared to using products. Tried leveling cement somewhere else and that was an effort in futility.

So harden the fuck up.
It's cheaper, but requires a bit more XP.
