Haha. So what version should we be using? Are the servers still on the 48 hour famine version?

Well I caved and bought Arma and installed the mod. This game is punishing? No gun to start with adds a whole lot to the learning curve. I found that I am very selective about when I pull the trigger if I do find a weapon though, which I really like. Struggling to make much headway TBH. Keep dying of thirst Finding it so hard to get a foothold.

I don't think I've ever had a Kiwi beer, so I wouldn't know, but Coopers Pale Ale (made in SA) is known all over the world for being a decent beer, so you've either only tried VB or some other cheap rubbish, or have crap taste. In 1977 Steinlager won the Les Amis du Vin Award, the most prestigious beer award in the world. Steinlager followed it up by winning again in 1978 and to really prove it wasn’t a fluke, again in 1979 and 1980.
The establishment didn’t like the fact that this upstart from the bottom of the world had taken out a mortgage on its cup and promptly sent a letter asking that Steinlager not enter again. If you can't beat em, ask them not to enter.

The bugs are annoying at times but it just adds another random element to the game. Most of the time there are ways around it. People have been trying to make FPS have ultra teamwork elements for years and ironically, this game is the only one I have played where people actually co-ordinate for an objective. I've always liked sandbox shooters with rpg elements like borderlands and fallout but this is even better as it adds the fps and the leveling is simply your equipment. That can all be taken away.
It helps that Obble is a stupidly funny mofo too.
The originality of the game style and the enormity of the map makes it a must play. We should as PC gamers support this kind of game because it is what we want, rather than the current trend of money first, games second like blizzard, EA and activision. Also, it's only $30 US on steam (cheaper elsewhere). This is the truth. I've been delaying buying this game because I just can't afford it or the time atm. But I think I'm going to cave.

There is definitely too much money spent on controlling this, and really, alcohol is infinitely worse for the consumer and society as a whole.

I have had bad experiences with the WD external hard drives. The USB interface they use is brittle and doesn't stand up to small bangs and drops. I know you aren't *supposed* to drop them, but they are portable for a reason and the more you make use of that feature the higher the chance an accident will happen. Never had the actual drive fail on me though.
