That is a hypothetical conversation that would only end up happening if a company took on the name Spark where they had 0 brand recognition. Telecom turning into Spark has the whole of the nation looking at them. They won't have this issue.

It's also funny reading the brave attempts by Telecom's social media to quell the madness. One person commented on Facebook "you should be spending the money in hiring better support staff", Telecom responded "Our support staff in Manilla is every part of the Telecom family and they take great pride in giving you the best support they can".

They're going to be keeping the logo. The initial brand update they did 2-3 years ago was the first step in going from Telecom to Spark. Making that change without introducing anything would have been suicidal.
