im listening to;

I'm sorry that it took so long to write this song
but i gave up
You see one million words can't describe how it feels
to know your love
...  Read more
Where did i go wrong?
I should have told you from the start
That i'm closer than you think when we're apart
Nothing that i've tried is as simple as this line

Without you
My life is incomplete, my days are absolutely gray
And so I'll try
Let your heart know for sure
That i have so much more to tell you every single day

I swear i'm giving up my inside to the one
that i adore
I know this world is big enough for you and I
but i'll give you more

I'm coming home today
To wipe the teardrops from your eyes
I'm totally enamored by your life
Nothing that i've done has ever been for one

Without you my life is incomplete
My days are absolutely gray
And so I'll try
Let your heart know for sure
That i have so much more to tell you every single day

My life is incomplete
My rights are absolutely wrong
So wake me up
Before you leave today
Something i need to say

fuck me, nothing good can come of this....why is it that musicians can say things much better than you can?

shit weekend is shit

The best thing about Finance Minister Bill English\'s latest Budget is that it does finally signal a much greater role for the private sector in the New Zealand economy. And another step along the way to extract this country from the political cul-de-sac in which Helen Clark\'s Labour Government parked us.

actually it's a band called "muder by death" & their album "who will survive, and what will be left of them"

concept album about a small mexican villiage the devil wages war on, awesome deeply layered sound (a mutherfucking cello), with a sort of country vibe

and has the sort of hopelessness that seems appropriate

Quote
Get on with it put off the fuss you chickenshit
get on with it can't you see its time to quit

I seen three men hangin' from a sycamore
their bodies were stiff as a two by four
and their heads were tilted down towards the ground
and it ain't been long since they been up there
that their bodies turned cold hangin' in that air
and they might have froze before that noose got to them

old scratch has dealt us a dirty hand
he had the look of a saint but the greed of a man
and his face was worn and wrinkled like a leather book
and if i put this revolver to my head
will god turn against me instead of taking pity on a broken man?

get on with it.

Deas Vail - Life In These Little Boats

ah..why didn't I listen to this song earlier!? It was just sitting there waiting to be played it's awesomeness. Same awesome songwriting and lyrics that Deas Vail's known for = great :)

Quote
we could fall between these lines if you would work with me
i could pull you from this cellar, we could break these chains together
and you'll become just what you were always meant to be
from this darkness we're escaping
as we're climbing from the belly of the sea

Awesome chorus.

Deas Vail - Shoreline

Some pwnsome falsetto 4:00 in. More controlled and sustained than Matt Bellamy's. The more I listen, the more I like this band :)

HQ quality for full justice:
