Doesn't give you more usable video ram.

Looks like I may need to upgrade from my 6950. Any recommendations?

I will most probably wait for the beta to come out and look at some benchmarks and buy the best I can with my money before the game is released.

AMD7950? GTX770? They're the higher end of the video cards so will set you back a few $$

AMD cards are suppose to run better with BF4 (both next gen consoles are using AMD gpu's so DICE worked with AMD).

Personally, I'm still heading down the Nvidia path. I just think they're nicer cards.

hahah nah I got in on the 2500k OC club with the stock 6950 that could be flashed to 6970and OC'd

I think I will be fine for another year then will look at upgrading then. Will wait for this new AMD/Mantle bollocks to come out and see where things lead. It will be a rig that revolves around BF4, GTA V and kids so I'm not gonna need blsitering specs. Hell I might even build a AM3+ rig ;)[h=1][/h]

AMD has fixed pacing issues and BF4 will use mantle, pays to wait a couple of months and see the new R series benchmarks.

Some of the R series are just a rebrand of the 7*** series.

So does that mean older cards will utilise mantle also?

I'm tossing up between the i5 4670k and the i7 4770k

The i7 means another week of waiting while I find the cash for the price difference :/
