Title: TradeMe allowing overseas listings...
Post by: Gutty on October 05, 2016, 10:53:22 pm
Not sure why but its starting to really piss me off.
When i find something at an unbelievable price, its from another country.. whyyyyyyyyy!! Trademe really have fucked it for themselves.

Why can they also get away with low price and expensive shipping? I see that shit on ebay and the occasional ali. But shit man come on!!

Cheap as fuck and high shipping avoids trademe fees, but that aside, friends do not let friends buy cheap shit network cables from TradeMe (or China!)

Cheap as fuck network cables are invariably not up to spec.. Buy Dynamix/CDL ones, most stores stock em including PBTech.

This would pretty much be against TradeMe's terms and conditions. I reported it, TradeMe don't like it when people try and avoid success fees.

TradeMe could easily prevent this kind of thing by having a maximum price to ship ratio. I mean 18 times the sell price is ridiculous..

It seams quite deliberate. For more expensive items (kitchen scales for $9.99), the same shipping option is only $7 instead of $18
