Oracle should sacrifice a boat to take out NZ. Then we'd be screwed.

In what way R?

The series will be won 9 - 1 either way.

I doubt the boats will be competitively matched. Just like with Luna Rossa it will be a clean sweep (apart from gear failure).

The only question is who has the faster boat.

Transfer back to US servers!

They now have a West Coast server and my pings to that on vodafone cable are around 150-170ms now, where as the original east coast server is still ~250ms.
I actually got my account unlocked on the NA server. Got reset to 0 battles though, but kept my premium tanks.

I'll give it a go sometime in the future. (after winter)

Current ping to SEA server is 220. Even if the tracert shows 150. The data center they use there is absolute shit.

The amount of jitter in game last night was insane. Response times on nz and /seas websites were ridiculous. etc. So I don't think it was only ICMP packets being held up.
This was at 3 or 4am so I'd imagine there shouldn't have been that much load on the network.

I was using pingplotter instead of mtr, it showed each hop was pinging about 50 above my usual average, with massive spikes occasionally. Some packet loss at ge-0-2-0-1.xcore1.acld.telstraclear.net.

The DPC3008 had the same SNR and power levels as usual.

Well it's back to normal now (I think), so I'm just going to 'meh' and move on.

I'll take a look at your thread for future reference.

Trying to figure out where my problem is.

I'm on *vodafone* cable.. So I'm hoping one of you on cable in Wellington can help me out

As you can see below, latency is all over the place. It normally sits just below 150.

Can you please tracert or ping to login.worldoftanks-sea.com :)

Paid this guy for two licenses. Received license code 1 on first phone call.

Sent PC code a week ago so he could send 2nd license code. No reply. Not answering phone.

Fucking christ, all I want is a code with no material value whatsoever.

May need to get together the GetSome lynch squad.

See what happens when you turn me down?

Are you sure the lag isn't caused by congestion on your own network/under-performing router?

I was using a POS router a while ago. If someone in my house was streaming TV I'd lag out in game.
I put in a Fortigate 60c and now we can download at 10MB/s without hurting my gaming.

And sharing is easy with windows 8.

Share the folder.

Make sure you have File and Print sharing allowed in the firewall (an option to allow this is given when you connect to a network, you probably clicked no)

Network center -> advanced sharing -> all networks -> turn off password.

If you have any problems after that, you fucked up.

I think MS has lost the plot tbh..

Make a user account on the windows computer, and when you share the folder, under the permissions, add that user with read/write permissions
From the other computer, connect to the drive, and authenticate with \ in the username, and the password you made .. should work

(e.g. if your windows PC was called swindle-PC and the user you created was called Frank, you would authenticate with "Swindle-PC\Frank" as the username)

And seriously, the metro touchscreen interface on Server2012.. who's moronic idea was that.

Why does it matter what it looks like? It is the same thing as a start menu. The only thing you use it for is to search for stuff.

Very similar to Diablo 3; but with crafting, professions, personal companions, mounts etc. Nothing too complicated.

PvE skirmishes and the Foundry can be cool. Queuing for shit and PvP not cool.....but hey, its open beta and play for free!

Currently got a level 35 Half-Orc Trickster Rogue on Mindflayer.

Yeah. PVP is pretty bad.

For the queues you just gotta jump on them then do something else. at lvl 45 it's taking me up to 20 mins to get into a dungeon or skirmish.

About to re-roll as a healer for shits and giggles.

Try that.

follow example config in server.txt to add DNS entries.

Haven't tested it really.
Updated...

Probably run as admin.
