Will getsome be putting up bf4 servers in the near future? this place is far too quite and needs to be repopulated

EA still standing by the no server in NZ thing.

Last I heard DICE/EA were refusing to let smaller regional RSP's (e.g. GetSome) host servers, and pretty much only Australia is allowed servers.

Terribad shit decision given the trans tasman latency, but DICE don't give a fuck.

I have rented a 24 slot server from wombat(au provider), as a trial server.

It's apparently based in auckland.

It's all pretty basic at the moment, still have a few things to check, but its up.

EA are pretty much giant homos. They basically decided at BF4 release that only huge multinationals could be server hosts.

It's not hosted by us thou, someone (Gutty??) is paying for it to be hosted elsewhere, because EA wont let us host.

correct, hosted in auckland, by an aussie provider.

its been there for a couple of months now. haven't done anything because I'm waiting for someone to suggest some things for it.

hence why its called vanilla, because still in stock standard mode.
