Was heaps of fun, no doubt assisted by the 5 pints I sank before the game. Ah, I do love singing how much we all hate Tottenham, even when they're not there.

I got some pics - awful ones of the game I'm afraid - but some cheesy ones of the surrounding environ. I made a steward smile for a photo though. They're usually very unsmiley fuckers - had an annoying prick in front of me that kept trying to start all the wrong songs at the wrong time.

The goals happened at the other end, but I could still see them go in. El Mucho enjoyable.

Awesome, do you go to many games? Or just one every now and then?

I've only been to maybe 7 or 8 in my 3 and a half years here. CC tickets are only £10, so I'll hopefully be going to a bit more this years.

Membership prices are hellish, 20k+ waiting list for a 2.5 grand season ticket. You can then get gold, silver or red memberships. Tickets left over go in order down the list. Red membership holders can usually get more than a few games a season, at about £46 a game - but never one against the big four. Those puppies are all gone well in advance.

CC tickets go on general sale, which means first in first served basically - there is a Champions League game upcoming which will have general ticket sales, but I'm saving to move home, so I doubt I'll make it.

If you cant get into the stadium though, theres more than a few packed pubs with an awesome atmosphere and large screens - nothing beats the stadium though. I was almost close enough to touch the grass last night, nice.

Hmm, I guess throughout the season you might get lucky once or twice, but in general - not really no, at least not at Arsenal.

On the other hand, you *can* get say, a Fullham ticket for not much at all - so you could get one of those and watch Arsenal twice in a season :D

But then you'd have to sit in their designated area wouldn't you?

Yeah, but that's not so bad. As long as you keep yourself to yourself.

I sat in the away section for Arsenal v Porto last season - we trounced them 4-0. I was very very quiet when the fourth went in, I can assure you.

Heh yea, well if I ever find myself in England, I will definitely be going to London, and I will even more definitely (somehow) be going to the Emirates to see them play.

Do the away tickets go on sale, or do members of the away team get them? And they sell them on ebay or something?? :P

Same as home I think. Whereby season tickets get first dibs, then Gold members might get say 10 or something games away. I'm not sure to be honest.

I can assure you though, that you would never ever get an away ticket on General Sale for the EPL :) Certainly not on eBay either. Away fans are the hardcore fans.

As long as you're willing to shell out enough quid, you should be able to get tickets to a game while you were here. Assuming there were suitable games being played. There is a ticket exchange system, etc.

Har, same. I was visiting my mate in London a few years back and we went to Arsenal v Spurs at Highbury and had to stand in the cage with all their dogs. We won 4-2, but i couldn't say much during the match.

At the end of the game we got herded out onto the street by the cops while the Arsenal supporters were held in the stadium at the other end. Then (with police escort) we got sheparded down to the tube and sent on our way. Ah well, at least we won. :rnr:

The best thing about Finance Minister Bill English\'s latest Budget is that it does finally signal a much greater role for the private sector in the New Zealand economy. And another step along the way to extract this country from the political cul-de-sac in which Helen Clark\'s Labour Government parked us.

Good result for Wigan last night :asian:

And of course for the Gunners, mouth watering goal keeping from Mannone! To think that he is our third choice keeper!

Heh, yay, go the spurs, they beat a crap team.

Before you bring it up, Man U played like total arse against Burnley when they lost.

You drew with Moscow, at home.

You shouldn't need to make a comeback... :P

Awesome win for the allmighty Gunners!

4-1, once again should've been more goals for and less against.
