Had a look at it earlier today. Already have a 50gb dropbox (for free) so don't really have the need for this... yet.

it circumvents current copyright laws by MEGA being able to stay completely blind to what is being uploaded.

Yes, it's a big "FU i'm still here statement" and a precursor for his real intention of attacking the music industry boffins with that megabox.

Quite keen to see how the music distribution thing goes, for immerging talent and artists that don't fit the record companies agenda this could work and shake things up.

Genre based random music feeds for an affordable subscription with no ads could be a revenue stream, I know there's already a tonne of online radios but just saying.

This is probably the most important part of the whole thing, that which separates it from other services.

I think it's genius.

So?
There was already rapidshare and a huge slew of other identical sites when the US Govt decided to make Mega a big deal too.

Wow. Mega is telling me my browser is outdated. In fact: It is telling me every browser I use is outdated (Chrome, Firefox, Opera)

Whoever coded this needs their license revoked

It's hosted in the future, the only place the US government can never get to.

It will have cdn nodes off shore, but will still have NZ host elements. Either way it's software slows it the hell down, and it's clunky and not friendly.
