I received undies from literally everyone this year, so I'm having to buy my own. I'm leaning towards PS4 because it's cheaper and has 1080p titles from the get go.
I do like the xbox UI and am a huge fan of the kinect. Shut up it's cool.

XSANNZ brought an XBOne on the weekend, and he's away all week so I may have a blat and see what it's like.. But still I say PC gaming master race! :-P

I had a PS4 preorder but cancelled when I saw the only 2 games I was slightly interested in were delayed, rest of the launch titles looked pretty shit. Doubt I will buy either console anytime soon now.

Oh I have a 360 and PS3 sitting under my desk, I had a honest attempt at playing both of them. Aside from the odd title that has no base on PC the console feels like struggle street after being so familiar with a keyboard/mouse with the exception of racing games.
Take Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn for example, I own it both on PC and PS3. On the PS3 its low res, laggy and very difficult to control with all the various combos of buttons to access all a characters functions. The pc version is the opposite with high res, no lag and a whole keyboard of keybinds to play with which require no key combos. If had never played the game on PC prior it would most likely not bother me but I have so it does, immensely.
I guess its just what you are used too, being this is what you would call a PC gaming orientated forum I don't see why it wouldn't be biased towards PC gaming.

Yeah, but MMOs sort of go without saying. Sometimes the bigger community is on the console. Call of Duty for example. Up until very recently you couldn't get a decent Beat 'em Up on PC, and if you could no-one was playing.

I only used my xbox 360 for console exclusive releases, like GTA4 (when it was first released), GTA5 and the great Red Dead Redemption. I have a current Steam library of 178 games for anything else i might want to play. My xbox controllers get a good workout on the gaming PC though, they aren't a bad controller imo.
