The issue was that the forums only embeds youtube videos if they are http://youtube (http://youtube) not https://youtube (https://youtube)
So I took the 's' out of your post

Then I thought that was a shit solution, so i dug deep into the code bucket and added some regex to the link parser, so now it accepts both.

And now I've forgotten what I was actually supposed to be doing this morning.. FML.

Ps. I really enjoyed decent. This news is cool. Perhaps I'm just too ~~disenfranchised~~ detached from gaming to feel any sort of what I would call 'excitement' over it though. Really cool though. I'm happy it's to return, and others will get enjoyment from it like I did many years back.
