Suppose for the sake of your retort - I indulge you - typically any massed killings or persecution over 10 gets reported in most parts of the world.

If you can find me a news article where a group of Athiests have killed or tortured anyone over their beliefs - then please post it.

Meanwhile with Religon we have the following bloosoaked endevours:

The Crusades
The Inquisition
The Pogroms
The Witch Trails
The Holocaust (remembering that the German belts prominently displayed 'Gott Mit Unst' - God is with us, and 60% of the SS who carried out the Holocause were practising Catholics)

Shall I go on?

Even if we assume that Athiests groups have been getting away with Murder En Masse for a long period of time - I doubt they could rack a kill tally that would approach even 1% of 1% of that of the supposedly moral and good Religous organisations.

Not that I am defending religion, god forbid, but people do tend to hide behind that to further their own ideals.

What most here have said, get overseas somewhere cheap and beautiful and make that 12k go a very long way.

I spent 6 months in South America and had a wonderful time, could of easily spent more time there.

This was my fav spot http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vilcabamba,_Ecuador

Come back tiwa, miss your quotes mate.

I am going to celebrate the 4th by allowing my 4 1/2 year old  to watch copious amounts of clone wars. I have 5 series for him to wade through.

Might get him a tee shirt also.

I have done a stupid thing, I set my xbox to have family settings on and then forgot the 4 digit code and my password prompt.  Don't know why as my 5 year old would not be able to play the xbox without me being around.

A friend has lent me bioshock infinite but I can't play it.

Googled the problem but all the suggestions do not work for my one( it is 2 years old).

Do any of you clever bastards know how to reset to default without the 4 digit password? Or do I wait on hold for 3 days with microsoft for them to help me.

Love you long time

Mums comment that they were working for the fbi was a stroke of genius, will keep the conspiratorial aspect of the whole saga alive and well

On the news tonight it was revealed that mum has an outstanding shoplifting charge and is wanted in the US.The smear has begun.

She needs to show some evidence of the kids being in touch with fbi and it is game on

They have told all the embassies to have their staff out by the 10/4, including the UN

http://www.stuff.co.nz/world/asia/8516734/North-Korea-requests-embassy-evacuations

Looks like it is escalating but I still don't seeing it being a war, they would have to be bloody suicidal to attack the south

i just think it's funny that its political BS to want to rename everything all the time or suddenly up and change the treaty because of a little pressure.  GOD danm me for wanting a government with a bit of backbone...

This is nothing to do with the government, just some people bringing it up for discussion, as the Islands have no official name it may be a good time to have a grown up discussion on it. Try not to get your knickers too tight up our self righteous arse
