First time to the Superbowl :rnr: :rnr: :rnr:

That was not an easy game to watch. The Saints really pounded Favre and to his credit, he did a lot better than many others would have done in similar circumstances. I am a little concerned that Manning is a freaking good QB. He can read a defense so well it's spooky.

I feel bad for you Devil, and had the result been reversed, I would have stood behind the Vikings as well. Peterson reminded me of the Auckland Warriors, one minute fantastic, the next your sitting there with your jaw on the ground going "WTF?".

Cant bring myself to hate the Saints, and as much as Favres throw was a bad throw in the situation, I just cant blame him fully for that loss, he took everything the Saints threw at him and got them into the place to begin with. Peterson, Harvin, Berrian all dropping balls killed, two in the Red Zone.

So tho you just know it will be oh Favre threw it away, hes shit, i actually think he did ok, on one leg that second half.

Be interesting to see if Brees and all can pick up the offense against the Colts, who arent the strongest defensive team, I actually thought they got dominated a bit on offense at times

An hour later, still gutted:(

Oh and yes VERY hard game to watch for both sets of fans. Some REAL bad calls made there too, one roughing the passer on Favre and the pass "interference" call that got the Saints in to field goal range especially

but it goes both ways and I dont wanna sound a bad loser;) Good luck Saints for the superbowl

Yeah, i though that was a shocker. I've seen lesser dives in soccer.

The best thing about Finance Minister Bill English\'s latest Budget is that it does finally signal a much greater role for the private sector in the New Zealand economy. And another step along the way to extract this country from the political cul-de-sac in which Helen Clark\'s Labour Government parked us.

The TV just about got a foot through it then, was shall we say a tense moment.

I worry if the Vikes will get to this position anytime soon, need a QB after Favre, and some of the players are getting on. Sort of like the Chargers in the AFC, window could be closing

Agreed. He did very well under the circumstances and quite frankly, his protection was pretty poor. It's like a goal keeper in soccer being blamed for a 4-0 loss when he pulled off some great saves but was let down by the defenders. Having said that, Saints have always had a very good defense.

I just watched the replay and I have to agree. That was a pretty tough call.

I shall offer the Saints all my support and encouragement and none to the Colts, nor will I show remorse if they lose to the Saints. In fact, I hope they :pyth: the Colts. (I've always wanted to find a way to use that smilie)

And thus the balance is maintained :D

funny they never got a sack, and vikes only got one. seemed noone could hold the ball in that game, as brees fumbled on that sack, and fumbled a snap too

regardless of bad calls, you cant turn it over five times

ah well always next year eh, hope we pick up the QB of the future in the draft as theres a few good QB's coming thru, DT's as well to replace Pat Williams

Tho i am not part of the WHO DAT nation now, i will be hoping they take it out:)

Calling that one a little early. they may be the favourites, but we'll do our bit to make a game of it.

Forth and One and Saints don't go for the field goal. Balsy move that may not have paid off, but didn't backfire either. Good game thus far and only four points in it at half time.

As an aside, I switch between Sky Sport 2 and ESPN (both showing the game) and what a difference there is. ESPN is not in HD whereas Sky Sport Two is. I only got my HD TV a couple of weeks ago, instantly upgraded to MySkyHDi and man I love it.:rnr:
