I personally think it will be a bit of a letdown, just like hangover 2 and 3.

I've been keeping up with what I can and I'm waiting on reviews, but most of what I've seen makes it sounds fairly bland. Just a bunch of trending game elements thrown into a Mad Max-esque open world.

From what I've seen Max looks different again, in the game. So I've not got a whole lot of interest. Mrs. is super interested in it though so I might bring it home for her.

I just hope they base max off the Mel Gibson mad max movies.

They wont. They'll want to avoid any royalty fees to Mel for 'likeness' so he'll just be another gruff, unshaven white dude. Because there isn't enough of these guys in games lately.

Yes, its a shame that most main characters in games are becoming the same.
