Title: Steamos sale
Post by: Apostrophe Spacemonkey on March 05, 2015, 08:22:00 pm
Not that I care about Steamos, but a sale is a sale

Planetary Annihilation - $10
FTL - $4
Civ 5 - $18

and lots of other good stuff

I heard PA went down the tubes, hard.
Bit dark because I did buy it.
Also never played it yet, so eh.
...Sounds like hope is dwindling though.

I'm thinking about civ 5, but I played my friends civ 4 for about 12 hours straight than never had any desire to play it again.
what are your thoughts?
Should I get it?

when It first hit steam there was massive hype about it, than after a few months it dissipated.

Yes, naturally duh kinda shit.
But what I'm saying is that that hype has turned more to anger.

Deviations from promised functionality, massive delivery delay, etc.
The reasonably common elements folks see these days from 'pledged for' games.

I picked  PA up on a steam sale for 5.99 not long ago, played it twice uninstall.

aside from the gameplay it has a pretty bad memory leak.
