Have you any experience with admin?: I haven't been an admin on a server before but I've been an admin for 3 facebook pages for about a year. I'm happy to learn about anything I need to know about being admin on a TF2 server.
Why you should become an admin: I play TF2 a lot and usually hang out at the trade_plaza_mesa_b2 server daily but I've notice people complaining about a lack of admins around (especially when mic-spammers are playing) so I thought to take on responsibility and help out the community.
What qualities/skills you feel that you have and what can you do to help further improve GetSome: I'm very considerate, I have a lot of experience with managing people, I've already been interacting with the players that come on and I'm very good with technical work, speaking up and keeping a friendly atmosphere for everyone.
What are your strengths: I'm very confident, entertaining, creative, polite, mature, smart, intuitive and generous (when appropriate).
What are your weaknesses: I can't manage the server all my spare time. I have outside routines and responsibilities to take care of but overall shouldn't interfere with being an admin.
What is it that in your mind would make a great admin and why: I love socialising with other players and having fun while making everything the best it can so I'll go out of my way to make the server a fun and enjoyable environment.
Games that you wish to admin: Just TF2. I have all the Counter Strike games but I still need to install them.
Other information: I have my own gaming channel which can promote GetSome and the servers and I'm able to host competitions/games/anything besides non-stop killing so consider me as an interactive and social admin. I only wish to admin the trade server I mentioned before but I can easily manage other/more servers if needed.

Thanks for your application, we are currently having a look at the admins and seeing what is needed. I have been snooping around the TF2 servers this past week without letting people know I am an admin to see what sort of environment it is (mainly around the trade server). We have several active admins, and usually one is always available via steam to come and help out.
While your application is good, I think your age is a little bit of a weakness (I realise that is the most frustrating thing to hear as you cannot change it), If you really want to help out and become admin, keep doing what your doing by making sure the server is a good place to play pretty much. Help admins by messaging them on Steam with any issues that might pop up.
It is a -1 for me just due to your age and we are currently looking at the admins in place to see what is needed. Please add me on steam (Dubyateef) and I will be more then happy to talk about your application further. Maybe in a couple of months your application can be reviewed if you continue to help out and it may have a different outcome.

Oh, there hasnt been a new post there for over two weeks, and there is no sticky with admin contact details. How are people supposed to find admins for this game? Do the people who populate the game servers never come onto the forums? Is there somewhere else they talk about pimping tf2 things?
A little more looking, this is sort of an admin list http://www.getsome.co.nz/showthread.php?57925-Behavior-in-servers but is filled with other posts and now way to tell if its current.

@Mycoolcar, you would be surprised where I lurk :), I have been an admin with GetSome (and previously with CND) for around 6 years.
There will be a couple posts in the TF2 section over this week to update rules and a couple of other things. Mellcor is sussing it out.

You need to make it clearer. If I am looking for an admin I go to the forum, look at the stickys and expect one named "Server admin contact details" or something alike.

I normally summon a minion from the Depths of Hell and send him on a Dark quest to get me the Admin details
but whichever way works for you I guess....
