Tiwa no way you’re still here after all this time!

Beliefs should conform to our best scientific understanding of the world. We should take care never to distort scientific facts to fit our beliefs.

They are making some great advances in battery and storage/cycles/charging technology.

I reckon the next 10 years for auto tech/batteries are going to be like the last 10 years in computer advances etc. My flying car I charge on banana skins to go back in time!

I think we would need a scientific study to determine if this is the case.

I shall apply for government funding.

The crazy thing is, you would probably get it!

This is the sort of shit I'd do when on CS back in ICONZ days.

Have we all gotten old and bitter in our old age?

You & I were the nastiest people on the planet, regular James Dean cunts we were!

no psh.....

just supercharger whine and turbo spool, which will be louder when I take off all the well designed German sound proofing cases on the intakes.

But the real reason is so it will run cooler on the intake and thus more effcient, I mean who wants to hear a supercharger roar......

18" black GTI rims then I am done with it. Will run stock otherwise.

Got my car!!

I'm rocking a Nespresso machine (Latissimo+). Upside - great coffee, easy to clean, super quick.

Rii you can buy metal based pods that you can put your own grinds in that are reusable like over 9000 times.

but is that 10% increase just for roading?

Could they spring another 5% on it for bacon sammies and then 3% for tomacco sauce?

If they keep adding to it is where it gets tricky, been lots of rates changes in chch since quakes, hard to keep up of what's where, thankfully I left the shambolic CCC area and don't pay em shit anymore.

Competition is gooooooood. I am on Xenos side. All I see here is Green hating on Red.

If it wasn't for AMD, DX12 would not be as awesome as it is going to be.

when is next gen cpu due out, I want to make a smaller rig, but see little point upping from 2500k + 280x for such marginal gains.

I never understood people and driver issues.... I used both camps, I use beta drivers... Never an issue.

Admittedly if you are doing SLI etc things go south quick.

4k gaming though, isn't that even more reason to look at the new Fury with HBM, the ram on it is like twice the throughput of the 980ti? Lots of memory is no use if you can shoot shit through it fast enough and ain't that the bottleneck in UHD+ setups now?

17
why you sell

Cos I wanted something new! I'm driving 500+km a week so felt like a change and saving 40% on petrol while still having fun seemed like a good idea! Gone from 260hp wagon to 170hp hatch, the little Golf is meant to scream, looking forward to it.

Still saving for my mustang though, a few more years and it will be mine.

Why not this for a small build, built in water, faster & cheaper.

faster is tongue in cheek really, but bang for buck it reads pretty impressive, and with the new HBM with the smaller form factor, seems like a win win!

How can a 390x be a rebadge, the 290x doesn't have HBM does it.

AMD does their big penis waving in a week, with it that close I would be waiting. All this BS about drivers etc is crap, Ive been running a 280x since they came out, always using the latest beta drivers, NEVER had issues, not once.

At the end of the day nvidia/amd, who gives a fuck, get the one that gives you the best bang for your buck.

*** ok it looks like the 8gb 390x wont be out next week, that's the new one with the HBM and runs much lower temps etc.

***** or maybe the thing on the 16th is the FURY cards with HBM.... who knows!

pretty damn good pricing, be interesting to see if the 390 (non x) is HBM memory too.
