Quote
An Australian man has admitting faking 21 thefts of his car over the past 13 years to avoid paying traffic fines.
Mario Hili, 64, admitted charges of obtaining financial advantage by deception and making false documents when he appeared in the Geelong Magistrates Court last week.
The Geelong Advertiser reported that when Hili last reported his car stolen - on January 20, 2013 - police could only find his fingerprints on the recovered vehicle.
"Police discovered it was the 21st time since 2000 that Hili had reported his car stolen," Senior Constable Siobhan Daly told the court.
"Each time he would find it himself at various locations around Geelong and each report coincided with him having received a traffic infringement notice through the mail."
By reporting the vehicle stolen, Hili was able to avoid demerit points against his licence that included traffic camera offences related to speeding and going through red traffic lights.
Magistrate Stephen Myall fined Hili A$2500 (NZ$3094), taking into account lack of priors and his early guilty plea but added no penalties to his licence.

Server and Community Rules and Guidelines / Garrys Mod Server Rules

GetSome Garry's Mod Rules

_________________________________________________
Minging
A Minge is a person who plays Garrys Mod to irritate and harass other players. Minging will not be tolerated.
Some situations that are considered minging are destroying another players creation without their consent, Spamming props or generally disrupting the peace of the server.
_________________________________________________

Microphone Spamming
Using your voice to transmit sounds other than your voice for meaningful communication.
Any background music or noise loud enough to interrupt in-game  communication is prohibited. If asked to stop, either reduce the noise,  or stop talking. Playing files or sound boarding is not allowed no  matter how many enjoy it.
If your conversation begins to inhibit the legitimate gameplay communication of players and you are asked to stop, be polite..

No voice modifiers.
No HLSS (or similar programs).
No sound boarding.
No spamming text chat.

Any muted player who leaves the game and immediately rejoins, will be  immediately re-muted (an admin will then warn them about the  consequences of them repeating this re-join) and if they leave and  rejoin again, they will be banned.
If a player is muted in the last round of a map, the admin has the right  to re-instate the mute at the beginning of the next map.

_________________________________________________

Hacking
Use of software or scripts that gives you an advantage over the other players will not be tolerated.
Hacking is one of the most serious of all offences and will be punished severely.
A 1 week ban (with a demo as evidence, supplied by the admin) will be  placed to evaluate your account status by all admins, then a permanent  ban will be placed if the evidence shows you were hacking.
If said evidence was posted on the forums by a fellow player rather than  an admin the punishment enforced will jump straight to a permanent ban  as soon as this evidence has been viewed by and agreed upon by the  admins.

_________________________________________________

Offensive language/images/conduct

Having an offensive or inappropriate in-game name, or spray is  prohibited. What is inappropriate is at the discretion of the  administrator, but for a rough guide, keep it under an M rating.
Using any racist, sexist, excessive swearing, or any other language  which is deemed to be offensive towards any player is not allowed and  you will be warned by an admin to stop, if you continue you will be  muted.

Advertising
Advertising on GetSome servers is strictly prohibited and will be  dealt with severly. You may not advertise websites or other servers  in-game.

_________________________________________________

Appeals
If you feel that you have been punished unfarily by an admin and you  want to appeal your ban/punishment, and/or make a complaint about the  admin who punished you feel free to do so on the forums if you believe  that you can present a case to support your claims.
Please do not start an argument with an admin in-game or over steam  chat about actions taken against you, or the admin has the right to  mute/gag you.
This also includes arguing with an admin about an action taken against a player other than yourself.
You may submit your ban appeal here: Unban requests

_________________________________________________

Our administrators follow a three strike system.
Warn
Action (kick, slay, mute, gag, etc.)
Ban

Repeat offenders will start on the second step.

Gmod is a very easy game to abuse, therefore the admins word is law; Arguments against the admin asking you to remove an item(s) will be dealt with harshly.
If your contraption is causing the server to lag, then expect it to be removed.

               GetSome Minecraft Server Guidelines

There are more and more people being whitelisted on this server  now, so I believe that we need some set rules for all members of the  community to follow. Anyone caught breaking these will be dealt with  accordingly.

These are likely to be changed and more added to the list as time goes  on, they are mainly 'gentlemen's rules' (as in don't be an idiot and you  should know all of them without having to read on).

#1 DO NOT GRIEF (no destroying other peoples structures or items). There  will be an instant no questions asked ban for anyone caught doing this.  This includes adding to other people's buildings without their  permission.
#2 No stealing - If something is in a chest, if it is valuable, DO NOT  take it. For everything, it is best to ask first before taking any item  from a chest.
#3 There are many things which look out of place on the server, and most of these are meant to be there.
#4 Do not ask the server operators for stuff. The /give function is for emergencies only.
#5 If a building is not yours, no part of that building should be  modified by you unless you have spoken to the original owner of that  building and they have agreed with the changes that you wish to make.  Special circumstances may apply so dial before you dig! I mean if all  else fails, ask a moderator.

Changes to the White List.
1. If not a regular you need someone that is known to vouch for you
2. Server now has a R18+ policy, so you must now provide proof of age.
3. If you vouch for someone, it is in your best interest to make sure  they are not going to mess with anything that they shouldn't, as anyone  who vouches for someone whom is removed from the server for disorderly  conduct will also be punished.

These are due to change without further notice.

YOU must know all of the above rules if you are to participate with  anything on our server, as not knowing the rules is not an excuse for  breaking them, in fact generally you would be likely to receive greater  punishment for not having read the rules.

31
The following list will not be tolerated. These rules apply to all GetSome CS1.6 Servers.

1. Cheating, by hacking or any other means, to enable abilities  or cheats that are not accessible in the standard game or any subsequent  universal patch.

2. Exploiting defects or errors in the map in anyway.

3. Grenade Spamming by flooding an area with grenades (includes all types of grenades such as smoke or flash grenades).

4. Throwing flash grenades to flash team-mates on purpose.

5. Microphone spamming or excessive microphone chatter while  alive is not allowed. The use of programs that feeds audio in-game such  as SSW is not allowed.

6. Radio commands spamming.

7. Using racist, sexist or otherwise offensive comments or words  in the foray in any context towards any person. This includes excessive
  profanity.

8. Pornographic sprays or any other material that people may find offensive.

9. Abusing or harassing administrators or other players.

10. Excessive camping and not doing objectives.

11. Going away from your keyboard for an excessive amount of time without dropping out of the game.

12. Using out of game voice communication or LAN to give you an  advantage. Working with your team over the included CS mic-program is  legal, but using an
outside program or any other means will not be tolerated.

13. Ghosting/LANing/Screening by having someone who is dead  telling a person who is alive where everyone is on the map. This gives  that person a huge unfair
advantage and will not be tolerated.

14. Sky walking.

15. Impersonating an admin.

16. Having ping over 200 which in result you are lagging/teleporting making it harder for other players to hit you.

17. Two lives in one round using retry/reconnecting.

GetSome's Counter-Strike: Source Ruleset

By playing on GetSome's servers you agree to abide by and adhere to  the following rules and any rules imposed by administrators or owners of  GetSome. The rule list is open to discussion by creating a new  thread in the Counter-Strike: Source discussion forum.

Behaviour and etiquette

* Do NOT use racist, sexist or otherwise offensive comments, names or  words in any context to any person. This includes excessive profanity.  [1]
* Do NOT abuse or harass administrators or other players.
* Do NOT go away from your keyboard for an excessive amount of time without dropping out of the game.
* Do NOT argue the rules with administrators. They will be happy  to explain the rules but beyond that you are not allowed to create drama  in the servers debating the rules.
* Do NOT asked to be unbanned in game or on Steam. This applies to players and friends of players. Use the bans and complaints forum for this.
* Admins word is FINAL. If you have a complaint you are encouraged to visit the bans and complaints forum and include useful information such as:
 - The admin in question (if known).
 - The incident including a detailed follow up towards the event.
 - Anything else you think is relevant.

Cheating rules

* Do NOT use any program or software that gives you an unfair advantage in the game.
* Do NOT use any cheating program or 'hacks' under any circumstance.
* Do NOT use any materials that can act as wallhacks or are transparent.
* Do NOT abuse any glitch/bug in the game that gives you unfair  advantages. Bunnyhopping is allowed but no scripts/programs that do it  for you.
* Do NOT screen-cheat, ghost, use programs or have any method of knowing  where the enemy team is unless it is by seeing them, having your team  tell you where they are or by use of radar.
* Do NOT modify your network settings in the console to give you an  unfair advantage or an unstable connection. This includes setting  cl_updaterate to a low number while the rest of your rates are normal.
* Do NOT change your name to the locations of where enemy players are.  Only exception to this rule is if the player is glitching in which case  please contact an administrator and record a demo.

Gameplay rules

* Do NOT excessively camp and ignore objectives. If the hostages are  inside you must go inside to rescue them. Heading away from the hostages  or not making a decent attempt at entering and rescue the hostages will  be met with swift action from adminsitrators.
* Do NOT spam grenades by flooding an area with grenades (includes all types of grenades).
* Do NOT throw flash grenades to flash teammates on purpose.
* Do NOT glitch, abuse map mechanics (i.e. seeing through objects) or exploit the map in any way or form. [2]
* Do NOT abuse your microphone abilities. This includes playing music,  having unrelated discussions throughout the round or bullying other  players. [3]
* Do NOT skywalk. This is walking on the top of the map where there is no floor.
* Do NOT flashboost. This is using another player's flashbang as a boost for movement.
* Do NOT spam radio commands.
* Do NOT play with a ping higher than 200.
* Do NOT execute hostages.
* Do NOT retry to play the same round twice.
* Do NOT block or impede movements of your team.
* Do NOT modify your rates, interp or any other network settings UNLESS  you know what you are doing. Default rates should be 25k/67/67 unless  you are capped or on slow internet connections in which it should be  10k/33/33. [4]

Counter-Terrorist rules

As a Counter-Terrorist your objective is to defuse the bomb or rescue  hostages. This is your goal, your objective and must be followed when  playing on GetSome servers.

* ALWAYS try to rescue the hostages or eliminate terrorists. [5]
* Do NOT camp anywhere outside the warehouse.
* Do NOT camp the upper vents of the warehouse on CS_Assault. This is  extremely annoying and violates multiple rules and will be met with more  severe action.
* Do NOT camp outside roller on CS_Assault. The Terrorists' goal is to stop you from coming in, not to come out and hunt you.

Terrorist rules

As a Terrorist your objective is to plant the bomb or stop the  Counter-Terrorists from rescuing the hostages. This is your goal, your  objective and must be followed when playing on GetSome servers.

* ALWAYS stop Counter-Terrorists rescuing the hostages.
* Do NOT camp the upper vents excessively. [6]
* Do NOT run off and hide if the Counter-Terrorists are rescuing the hostages.
* Do NOT excessively camp the hostages. You may do so if you're  retreating near the end of the round but do not sit there for long  periods of time before this.

Footnotes
[*]Players  are allowed to swear in game as this is an R16+ game classified by NZ  law, however once this swearing becomes abusive towards players or  administrators it is a violation of the 'no abusing players' rule.
[*]A  list of 'glitch' locations can be found here
[*]You  may use your microphone but keep it civilised. Do not in any case use  it to be racist or such to other people.
[*]Don't mess with these options  unless you are told to by an administrator. If you want a detailed  listing on how rates work visit this page
[*]Don't  camp. It just annoys EVERYONE else. Your team for you not helping, the  enemy for them not being able to play the game and the dead for having  to wait.
[*]Basically don't do it every round or more than two in a  row.
    [/list]

    FAQ

What do I do if I see a player breaking the rules?
    * Record a demo and post it in the complaints forum OR ban submissions forum if it's cheating related. Read the stickies and follow the normal procedures. Click this if you don't know how to record a demo.
    * Contact an admin. In game prefix your message with the "@" symbol so  if you want to tell an admin "playerx is glitching!" open up all chat  (press y) and type "@ playerx is glitching!". See below for admin list  link.

What do I do if I am banned?
Wait out the ban. However, if you feel you are wrongly banned please post in the bans and complaints forum and include:
    - Why you were banned (see below for ban list)
    - When you were banned (server time).
    - Who banned you (if known).
    - Why you think you should be unbanned.

What is the IP of the Counter-Strike: Source server?
    203.97.27.201:27018
Type 'connect 203.97.27.201:27018' (without the ' ') in the console to connect.

What should my rates be at?
Rates determine bullet registration and compensation for lag. So while  on my screen you may be standing in front of a door, due to lag and the  fact the game is online, on you screen you're already out of the way. By  using higher rates you ensure a more accurate compensation for the lag.  Situations when you can tell there's a problem with rates/rego are when  you shoot someone and there is blood on them / a bullet hole behind  where they are standing but took no damage.

Ideal rates for people with faster internet connections (i.e. at least 512kbps cable or DSL variants) should be:
'rate 25000', 'cl_cmrate 67', 'cl_updaterate 67' and cl_interp should be set to whatever your ping is.
(Type ping in console to find out the real ping). E.g. if I have a 50ms  ping my cl_interp will be "0.05", if it's 100ms it'd be "0.1" and so on.  Unless you are on a slow connection 'cl_interp_ratio' should be set to  '1'.
If you are capped or on dialup your ideal rates at 'rate 10000',  'cl_cmdrate 33', 'cl_updaterate 33' and leave cl_interp as it's default  value. All commands (rate, cl_cmdrate, etc) are entered separately in  the console, one at a time.

GetSome: Bad Company 2 Server ROE.
This GetSome rule set includes the EA Battlefield Rules of Engagement (linked below)
You must abide the rules here in order to play on GetSome servers.

*Don't use any 3rd party game enhancers (hacks) such as aimbots, wallhacks, multihacks etc...

    *Don't use offensive/racist language and/or player names.

*Don't impersonate administrative personal or known gaming clans/groups.

*Don't spawn camp in or use enemy assets from uncapturable areas. *Defined below

*Don't steal assets in use by team members. *Defined below

*Play the game as it was intended; don't exploit the game engine in  order to gain an unfair advantage. This includes but is not limited to  stat-padding, exploiting inside objects/geometry and being outside of  the intentional/playable map etc...

Owing to the nature of any given violation, each can have variable  punishments such as kills, kicks, temporary bans and permanent bans.  These are judged on a case by case basis, you may or may not get a  warning prior. Temporary bans can range between a few days to months  depending on the severity of the infringement.

    Definition of Uncapturable areas:
In conquest mode they are the main bases that your enemy spawns in at  the start of the match. In Rush mode they are the attackers spawn or  final stage of defense spawns. Some time is allowed to move out after  points tick over. Attacking the base with reasonable intent to destroy  assets is acceptable.

    Definition Team Asset Theft
Team asset theft is taking friendly vehicles/gunner positions whilst they are under repair.

    Definition of Enemy Asset Theft
Asset Theft (of enemy vehicles) is acceptable as long as it does not require leaving the intended field of play to do so.

    Definition of Spawn Camping
Spawn camping is going inside a enemy uncapturable area and killing  people as they spawn. Quick raids to take out the AA, kill people  sniping out etc remains acceptable.

International players may be kicked without warning as high latency can  adversely affect game play for both the client and other players on the  servers.

If you see anyone breaking any of the above rules, please advise them of  the breach. Subsequently, if the user persists, you should get in  contact with an admin. In the event of hacking or exploitation, please  contact admin staff ASAP.

If you think you have been unfairly banned, please post in the Bad  Company 2 ban thread and ask politely if you can be unbanned, giving  reasons why.

If in the event that any administrative personnel abuses their rights, please please contact a head administrator.
If there are any other issues that we can't resolve please Contact EA  support directly. Furthermore please use the reference [892524] for any  RoE complaints.
