It's a matter of opinion.

I don't drink that much FYI. Infact I haven't for a long time.

Ok? Good

My first beer for over a week due to antibiotics.
Was crisp and fresh and very drinkable.

Would drink again.

I don't care camy, you're still to young to be here (or have formulated a decent opinion really).

Talking about micro breweries... I havn't had one of these in ages, but from memory they're very nice and quite dark.
Good heavy beer.

Mike's Mild Ale.
Changed quite a bit since I had it in 2003.
Still in the same place though (although I think it's changed hands a time or two).

Back in 03 it was just some guy from his shed. No fancy estate. And the beer came in 4 bottles (pretty standard) or a 2 litre plastic bottle (similar to scrumpies, lol). Good times!

Been drinking mainly Heinekens lately but I'm fond of a number of europen lagers/pale ales.  And yes, Corona is trash.

Drinking anything with a % sign on it.

Appreciating everything for its differences.

Not Corona though, lemon wedges and beer have an air of pretence about them.

My two personal favs

Just don't get the weaselpiss versions that are made by Independent Breweries.

And Pyro, if you're looking for a "light beer", give Amstel Light a try. It's pretty had to distinguish from full-strength when it comes to taste.

The best thing about Finance Minister Bill English\'s latest Budget is that it does finally signal a much greater role for the private sector in the New Zealand economy. And another step along the way to extract this country from the political cul-de-sac in which Helen Clark\'s Labour Government parked us.

just been drinking my home brew dry cider (12%) and some cheeky home brew wheat beer (6%).

Cider was nice and crisp, very clean, dry. Next batch will aim for a slightly more sour (green apple) taste

Wheat beer, nice and cloudy with a nice aftertaste to chew on, a bit fizzy, next batch will have less fizz.

Very Interesting about the ciders

I have been drinking Monteiths Apple Cider and I must say i quite enjoyed it

when servered cold its easy to drink and doesnt leave to much of an after taste

makes me shit like a trooper

you guys need to try this beer is tops

Yeah the Monteiths cider is damm tasty, not from concentrate either, like most of the others are. Fresh Choice had it on special for $10.99 a couple of weeks back IIRC.

I did the brewery tour in Greymouth last month and they are brewing cider flat out.
