i found state, aa, tower ect all completely out of touch for motorcycle insurance.

My first insurer was Golightly, having shopped around they arent the best but have decent cover and cover learners.
Have since changed to Swann, slightly more expensive but obviously insuring the trumpet now rather than my cbr.

Protecta are another insurer but Ive found that they are in a dream world for excesses and cover.

kiwibike is a reseller so they will shop around to find you a good deal. After calling them and Swann i could get a better deal through Swann directly rather than a reseller.

Defiantly advise getting insurance no matter what youre driving or riding.

Aside from that hope you heal up well. (wear boots in future ;))

yeah the lines and cornering at puke was very timmid, still only the 2nd time i had ridden my 675 and only the 3rd time on a big bike. I usually throw the CBR250RR around puke scraping knees. wouldnt be supprised if i was doing faster laps on the cbr at this point.

usually more like this

CBR 250RR Honda - Pukekohe Racetrack

Is different I think better because its not just 2 straights and a hairpin anymore but the surface is still rubbish.
Much prefer HD and although have only done Taupo in the WRX I imagine I'd enjoy it more than Pukekohe on the bike.

I was nowhere near the limit of the bike though still pretty new to bike and track riding, (only a year riding so far) so as far as lap times and speeds go I was pretty average.
Lapped by a mate on the same bike to give you an idea. Although Hes QUICK, quicker than fast 600s.

While most were inside on Sat I went to Pukekohe, managed 3 sessions before rain came in. Managed to get low enough to scrape the left peg in the chicane and right peg going up over the hill.
Those last few corners
Come around the hairpin and have it basically pinned, short shifting for the left then right-hander, up over the hill and all the way down the straight flat tack before kicking down one gear for the first corner and breaking some teeth on the bump half way around before straight-lining the S's, Tipping in for corner 4 then down the straight pinned to the 150 mark and grabbing a hand full of brakes for the chicane then a short squirt before the hairpin again.

I wanted to get some plugs for lugs but theyre located in rotorua, so a bit out of the way for fitting and purchasing.
If they come up for the bike show il get some there and then. So made do with these ones after going through the disposable 3M earplugs. Which were amazeballs btw.

nothing wrong with those RPMs. 100k in 6th on my CBR is 9k. then again it redlines at 18500 RPM regularly

You're clearly insured with the wrong people (or not as the case is here). Im with Golightly. Would recommend.

Get your restricted asap. It's still 1.5 years after getting your restricted before you're allowed out past 10pm, allowed to take passengers, allowed to have any blood alcohol and before you can get a adult sized bike.

Yeah exactly what happened, I was alot faster through 2 and 3 then didn't change braking point for 4. Chickened out incase I ran wide cause it would have lowsided on the grass so tried my best to stand it up and control myself on to the grass.
The face shot was my bike, the forward shot was the chasing bike. I made a big gap between him and I through 2-3.
