Title: After 1 year of owning my Samsung Pro 840 - I found out about the Rapid mode

holy balls.

It takes a 1gb cache, 50mb RAM, additional power and CPU resources but fuck me!

Not sure yet if it is beneficial, will leave it on for a week and see.

November 2013 - when I bought it.

So to conclude it's a fuckload faster in a benchmark. Update us on how it goes longer term plz.

Will do. I am also looking at upgrading ram, so curious to see how it all ties in.
