It's me. I'm Finbar Tweedy. Then you're an annoying kid in grade five.
Come back when there's an automatic arts and crafts thread. To be fair, a laser cutter is the best way to cut acrylic. If you want, I'll post some tables I've made.
Not that I have anything to share - yet -A few years ago one of my students made a Raspberry Pi powered lunchbox arcade emulator. It was very cool.
But I plan on making a Raspberry Pi based arcade machine. Actual arcade controls and a full sized cabinet. Will post shit when..well...When there is shit to post ;)
I can guarantee that none of these have, I've got production photos for everything. :)
Workmanship that I will never replicate, do you have the link to his website?

That's nice too. I'm really jealous of people with practical skills. Like being able to measure. This might sound like some generic motivational bullshit but you will be surprised what you can do when it comes to manual arts. The table is so much better then what I thought it would be. (In all honesty. I'm not bosting) It started out as something really simple that I was going to do over a weekend, but when I was working on It I came up with new ideas that turned the table into something that could probably be sold for upward of $3000.
rimu and boiled linseed oil . i then french polished it with 000 gauge steel wool .15 coats .Would have taken a while.
