It's for people who wasted money on MoH isn't it?

No shit.

Well then I don't know what you're complaining about. It does a decent job, certainly at least equal to the previous terrible ingame browser. And if they want to improve it, they don't have to patch the entire game.

I want a tank with bright pink paint.

Except for the fact it has huge issues finding local servers unless you knew the exact name of them. Try typing AU or NZ into it and see how few turn up vs the ones listed on gametracker etc

There's a region filter didyakno?

Highly likely it will, no mention of a server browser ingame yet

imo battlelog is far superior to any ingame browser, and far more upgradable. I don't miss the old browser at all. Something that EA did right, fair play to them.

Espeeeeecially "Rather than build its own battle recorder, however, DICE plans to use the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 recorders."

Well I would pay that much.

108
Jesus. Guilt trip much?

I like metal bodies, but I dislike HTC Sense, so win-win?

Not that I would spend that much on a phone.

If it's anything like 2142, it will knock out vehicles.

That looks pretty good imo, a step in the right direction.

Apparently they might be bringing back full magazine reload as well.

Also VOIP confirmed?: http://www.reddit.com/r/battlefield_4/comments/1g400z/ingame_voip_on_pc_has_not_been_confirmed_so/cagk1yf

Fresh Meat is okay if you like that kind of thing. Also The Inbetweeners.

Technology & Hardware / Ultralow latency setup
« on: June 06, 2013, 04:57:13 pm »
Hi folks, what sort of hardware would you use to minimise video presentation latency as much as possible. This is for a research setup, so 1ms total (command to display) is bordering on too long. Any ideas appreciated.

It's almost completely because we don't have the same "stringent" (read: racist) immigration policies as Australia, and they don't want people getting NZ residency and then moving to Australia. In the decade leading up to the law change, NZers as a group in Australia actually paid far more tax than they got back in welfare.

That's typically what people who haven't used it since they were 12 say. It's actually pretty good.

Oh stuff. Why you troll so hard.

tl;dr
20yo with a 5yo+ child moves from aussie to nz, to be with a man she met on the internet (and had known for 15weeks), and ends up in palmy. Tries to get on the dole and fails. Blames NZ.

lolz, can't believe that got past the mods. The stereotypes, the comic timing in the reveals, combined with the relatively good grammar are pretty good indicators.

The funniest part is that not one of the commenters (that I saw) called it out, although that might have been moderation again.

I Will buy BF4. This time I am not going to let myself get all excited with hype, previews and so on. When game is released I will hand over my money and take one in the backside from EA. But hey they might surprise me ?  They might use a ribbed condom for extra pleasure :D

But I still jam bf3 tbh, never bought any of the expansion packs, just the fail B2k that came with Bf3. Still love the vanilla maps.

I assume that by "the vanilla maps" you mean "the vanilla map", and that by "the vanilla map" you mean "metro".

The expansion maps are far superior in my opinion. No more 1km hike from uncap to flags that are all 50m apart leastways.

Was just thinking that swindle hasn't jumped on a bandwagon lately :D:D:D:D

It still makes sense. They just continue to work on them.

Well that and the hostility towards newcomers.

I liked the expansions. Yes, they should give us 5000 maps for our $80 outlay, but that's just not going to happen. The expansions are like a contract with the developers to keep them working on the game, and I think they delivered.

Planes, Trains & Automobiles / What did you do to your vehicle today?
« on: June 04, 2013, 01:46:03 am »
If it has low profile tyres, that will be why it rides so hard.

124
Well they're part of the Android specification now, and they're a lot more flexible.

125
They're going to fix their messed up buttons then?
