The best thing about Finance Minister Bill English\'s latest Budget is that it does finally signal a much greater role for the private sector in the New Zealand economy. And another step along the way to extract this country from the political cul-de-sac in which Helen Clark\'s Labour Government parked us.

Point being that if God created everything thats how she would make it look, knowing how inquisitive we are.
Everything may have been made to appear billions of years old when in actual fact(haha) it's all only 6007 years old in terms of it's existance.

If that is true then god is trying to decieve us, and that also means he is a trickster and a liar.

oh and by disprove - i mean provide evidence, hard physical empirical evidence. Not something like "this phrase in the bible says" or "my invisible space giant friend can do anything"

it's just basic physics, fulcrums in action. The important thing to notice is that the hammer head is on one side of the fulcrum and the ruler, handle, etc is on the other side The 2nd fulcrum just makes it more of a cunt to work out the centre of mass for the system

I still don't understand it.

Maybe I should invent an explanation for it.

Maybe if you see it explained in a diff way. See if it helps.

The whole thing is balancing on the left edge of the ruler. For it to balance, the weight on the left side of the edge has to equal the weight on the right side. There's plenty of weight in the head of the hammer to balance the ruler, string, hammer handle, on the right.

1. If the whole thing is not to fall off then it has to balance (on the left tip of the ruler).

2. For it to balance, the weight on the left side has to equal the weight on the right side.

3. Look how much weight is in the head of the hammer and notice that it is to the left of the tip of the ruler. There's plenty of weight there to balance the weight of the ruler, string, & hammer handle on the right.

Not quite Science V Religion, but if you draw a long enough bow, it could belong in here. I didn't find it, but was made aware of it by Mafia47  in another forum

I love the irony of those in this forum who have posted that they hate America. Congrats folks, you've got something in common with this family.

BTW BerG - wasn't that you sitting in the back of the van at 5:30?
