The Gathering - The May Song (album version)

One of my favs from them from the pwnsome 'Nighttime Birds' album. So many good songs on it. If you like Lacuna Coil, you'll like this era of the Gathering. Sounds like Lacuna Coil but less mainstream sounding tbh thus better.

I have been obsessed with Pterodactyl Squad's 8-bit album remixing Weezer songs.

Though all the songs are great, I particularly like Bit Shifter's The World Has Turned And Left Me Here.

You can download the entire album here.

Also highly recommended on the 8-bit scene is Anamanaguchi -
Helix Nebula
which will rock your fucking pants off.

Last night on The Colbert Report he had a weird Swedish swing-hiphop-jazz band called Movits! It's all in Swedish language; I'm gonna try and check out the album. A clip for your enjoyment:

The Veronicas - Revenge Is Sweeter (Than You Ever Were)

'Hook Me Up' = one of the better tweenage pop albums out there tbh objectively. Greg Wells, the producer, makes this album good

They got better songs than that IMO.
I feel that one of their weaker songs.
'Shake A Fist' and 'And I Was A Boy From School' = their best songs imo.
If you want catchiness galore, get their 'Made In The Dark' album.
Their song 'No Fit State' is ringing more and more true as UK starts to turn more and more into a police state.
