How long from when that person makes that call to them connecting to the global porn repository, on average?

typically 5-10 working days, sometimes a touch longer, can be quicker if the line records are good, all dependent on Chorus

If there has very recently been a connection at that address, and the port/path hasn't been reassigned, then it can go through as intact, which is a lot quicker, but service providers have bugger all tools to check for that accurately.

or have 2 just put a remote intelligent hub between net and firewall and remote into that and use the remote wake on Lan option that most intelligent hub interfaces have, or even an old router with network ports...

i can remote into my fritzbox from anywhere including my phone and then remote wake Lan wake any supporting devices at home.
