Yeah I can't understand the later model levin attraction, ugly as sin for coupes and even if you were to modify them so they produced decent power they would torque steer to the point where corners become wishes

Matt black is also ugly as sin and 95% of the matt black jobs I've seen done should have resulted in their owners being shot

I understand if you love your car you love your car though scorched onion

It wasn't matt black when i got it, it'd just been a spray can gloss job which the sun ruined. Which i meant to get around to fixing but didn't. I think the AE101s look nice tbh but people have different tastes. That said i am going to get rid of it.

You mean it's the result of someone who didn't know what they were doing? Like the 95% figure quoted earlier?

Sorry. You seemed to be saying it as if it excluded you from that group. Perhaps if you'd quoted deeunit's post instead...

My excess is $1350, but hey I don't really mind I'm insured for $7000, full cover, and I'm happy with that, being 20 and owning a 'boyracer' car etc.

Should have saved your cash a bit more scorched and got a bit more of a respectable car that has a little 'go' before 'show' aspect of things if you know what I'm saying.

It has decent 'go' especially for a 1.6l being a 20v. The paint is letting down the 'show' part though haha. Nah i do regret getting it which is why im getting rid of it :) i would've saved up more but i needed a car cause i lost my first one.

more than likely for that excess he "lost" it when he hit that tree/car/immovable object that jumped infront of his car on a fine sunny day in the month of may, whilst obeying all the road rules...

Give the guy a break, when you're young you have insane excess. That's the way insurance works.

He might belong to the demographic, but has he actually fulfilled the stereotype?

Besides, I doubt anyone here can say they haven't done anything remarkably stupid in a motorcar, especially at that age.

It doesn't justify any further stupidity by someone else. But know him before you judge him.

Also, lol matte-black is such a fucken dirty bogan colour. The only time that shit looks nice is when it's done on an-epensive-as-hell car.

I did something that was a little silly that wound up me having to sport a rather large fine, but got off lightly because I showed respect to the police officer and wasn't a cunt about anything, had accepted my fate from the moment he said good evening and that was that.

Learnt from it, and haven't done it since.

Fuckwits loose it as in it was 'mine' because my mums now ex boyfriend bought her a car so she gave me her old one. Shit happened and he wanted it back and got it back, she had no car and needed it more than i + she gave it to me anyways so i gave it back.

Don't jump to conclusions, but then again i guess thats like telling water not to be wet. Being the trolls you all are.

Wait, so what kind of excess do you guys have. I am 21, and i still have the same $1k excess i got since i got my full (which took it down from 1.5k). Should I be expecting less. Have a typical shitty non "boy-racer" car as well.

I am 21 and my driving history isn't that flash and my excess is $1200 for a car valued at $9000 and is a 2 litre turbo so it's considered a "boy racer" car. If it wasn't for my driving history it would be about $800 or less.
